This bright sunny studio apartment is full of swiss charm & modern conveniences. It was built as part of our single family home in 2006. Has its own separate entrance, a large terrace with lake & mountain views. This quiet location is just a minute walk to the crystal blue waters of Lake Brienz. Our backyard mountains offer great hiking & bike trails. The picturesque town of Boenigen is conveniently located just 3km from Interlaken and only 20 km to Grindelwald and the spectacular Lauterbrunnen Valley for great hiking and skiing in the winter.

The Studio has a full kitchen, queen bed & sofa. A modern bathroom w/shower, flat screen TV/Radio/DVD & Wireless Internet.
Utility charges, bed linens, bath and kitchen towels are included in price. Covered parking is also available.

This is such a cozy chalet and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Its location is perfect—just minutes from Lake Brienz, Interlaken, and many of the sights we explored during our 6-day stay. Cindy was warm and welcoming, and the videos she sent in advance made finding and accessing the unit very easy. The bathroom was spacious, and the patio has a great view of Lake Brienz. The pillows and duvet felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! We would highly recommend!

Lovely property in a perfect location

My partner and I had a wonderful stay in Bönigen! The property was super close to the lake and had a terrace with a gorgeous view. It was clean and cosy. Cindy and Sam were lovely and friendly. Cindy gave us lots of useful info about the nearby areas and was a joy to chat with :) Thank you so much!

Perfect Gem!

We had the most wonderful 10 days in this beautiful little studio that had everything we needed. It was in a great location with good transport links, but away from the hustle and bustle of the central tourist spots. What we loved best about the property was at the end of a busy day, being able to walk 1 minute to the Lake for a swim and then relax on the patio with beautiful views out to Lake Brienz and the mountains.Cindy was a fabulous host. We definitely hope to return.

Quintessential Swiss Studio

We loved staying in Bönigen. Cindy’s place is spotless! The bathroom floors are heated which was such a nice touch. Very comfortable bed, linens and amazing views. A few cows and chickens within the entrance to the studio. Cindy was really helpful with recommendations and also dropped us off for dinner one night. She is so lovely and very hospitable- we would definitely stay here again!

World Class

Cindy's place is charming, updated and has a nice layout. The view from the patio is world class with a views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The cottage is close to town and public transportation passes are provided. Cindy is very organized, sent a great video for directions to the cottage and was beautifully set up for our visit upon arrival. We look forward to a future visit.

Great Place!

Couldn't ask for a better place or a better host. Cindy's from San Diego so English is not a concern. She is there if you need her and not there when you don't. The place is very clean, nice kitchenette, HEATED BATHROOM FLOOR, beautiful private terrace to enjoy a meal and/or drink and great views of the lake an mountains. You're not in Interlaken, but you're close enough to get there by bus or bike. We rented a car, which they have a space in the carport to keep the car. We look forward to going back.

Beautiful Bonigen

What a magnificent location!! The studio flat was just metres away from the stunning lake which was perfect for having a dip after a hot day walking in the region. The bus stop was just a 5 minute walk away, which connected to the Interlaken train connections. There was also the option of taking a boat trip on Lake Brienzersee, with the jetty being a 10-15 mins walk. The accommodation is furnished to a high standard and the shower was heaven!! We knew that Switzerland is expensive to eat out so we appreciated the hob and microwave oven/grill to cook food. Again, the accommodation is faultless and equipped with everything you needed. Cindy was so welcoming and from the moment we arrived, she was available to make our stay comfortable and give valuable advice about the surrounding area. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation and consider it to be one of the most beautiful locations.

Loved our stay in this beautiful location. The studio had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The feather doonas and pillows were sumptuous and the bed was wonderful. We prepared our own meals in the studio and ate them out on the deck with views of Lake Brienz. Cindy, our host did everything to make our stay welcoming and easy to check in and out. Even though we had our own car, there was a local bus close by to take you to the train station and walks along the lake were right at the end of a short street. There is also a public walkway next to the property that can take you into the centre of Bonigen. I would highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again. A great find for our Switzerland visit in the Interlaken area.

Traumhaftes Chalet

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in diesem Chalet! Für 2 Personen ist die Größe völlig ausreichend und die Lage war top. Auf der Terrasse hatte man einen Blick auf den See mit den Bergen im Hintergrund und hinten raus hat man die Berge gesehen und die Kuhglocken gehört. Sehr romantisch. Mit dem Bus hat man eine super Verbindung und ist schnell in Iseltwald oder Interlaken. Das Chalet ist gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und die Vermieterin Cindy ist so freundlich und herzlich. Wir haben zuvor noch nie eine so wundervolle Landschaft gesehen, die Wanderwege sind ein Traum! Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder und auch gerne wieder in das Chalet!

super schönes Reiseziel

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man hat alles, was man braucht und die Lage ist wirklich super. Auf der Terasse hat man einen schönen Berg- und Seeblick und vor allem ganz viel Ruhe und Natur! In einer Minute am See, in wenigen Minuten bei verschiedenen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und mit dem Auto auch super angebunden. Wir wurden bereits bei der Ankunft sehr freundlich empfangen und haben einige super Tipps für Ausflüge bekommen. Würden wir immer wieder hin!
