House was fine
The house was fine. TV’s don’t work worth a darn and during college football season that was tough not to be able to watch games after golf. Other than that, it was good
Home was super clean and well stocked. Great space and comfortable beds. Extremely quiet and peaceful too. Starter shampoo and conditioner are the 2 in 1 which don't work for everyone's hair so if that's you bring your own! Plenty of towels and extra pillows which was appreciated. But the BEST part was the easy and effortless check out procedures. So many vacation rentals charge astronomical cleaning fees but require you to do SO much at checkout which I always hated. Not this place though! Make sure trash is in the can, dishes in the sink, and towels on the floor and that's it! Super easy and quick! Would definitely book again!

Thank you for your detailed feedback, Alexis. We're glad you found the home clean, comfortable, and peaceful. We appreciate your note about the shampoo and conditioner and will keep that in mind. It's great to hear the checkout process was easy for you, making things simple for our guests is important to us. We'd be happy to welcome you back anytime!
Note: The private dock is condemned and blocked off. Was disappointed to discover upon arrival as we were not made aware before our arrival with 5 teenage boys eager to fish!!! Only other downside is the house next door is having a pool installed and started construction every day before 8am and went until 5:30pm. Not a lot of peace and quiet to be had…The yard on that side of the fence has also washed out and one of our dogs escaped before we realized it. Hopefully temporary and pool will be done in a couple months.Besides that, we had a great beach trip staying here with 5 adults and 5 teenagers. The separate bunk house worked great for the teenagers as well as the outdoor showers. The house was clean, comfortable and all the kitchen essentials. The location was great for us with water views from front and back and easy walk to a great beach. The maintenance company was super responsive and dropped a new microwave off same day when I let them know it was dead. The private pool is very small and more for soaking to cooling off from the heat vs any swimming.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Severe Exterior Dilapidation and Safety Concerns – Not as PicturedI would never rent this property again. We were forced to cut our stay short and leave this property early due to severe, unaddressed exterior maintenance and structural safety concerns that were entirely misrepresented in the listing photos.Deck Structural Issues: The deck railing and structural framing are physically separating from the primary support posts, leaving visible gaps. There are jagged pieces of wood missing from the front and back deck flooring, creating an immediate safety hazard.Bio-Contamination: There is deep organic filth covering the railings and the main high-touch entry door handles.General Neglect: The front deck is missing pieces of wood, covered in peeling paint, and coated in thick filth. The siding and trim on both the front and back of the house are peeling and deteriorating heavily.Stairs & Trim: The backyard stairs are warped, tipping, and completely off-center because the wood is failing. The trim and caps on the stair posts are literally falling apart.Pool Area Damage: The concrete near the pool entrance is severely cracked, broken, and chipping away right next to the handrail. If you have children or are concerned about basic structural safety and cleanliness, avoid this property. The listing photos are completely inaccurate to its current dilapidated state.
