We loved staying here !! It was a nice place and close to everything and the host was very friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend going there and staying! We will definitely be back!
Gathered with family to visit for a long weekend and needed a central spot to go to and from. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us (including their pup). Thank you for hosting us!
We stayed here as a family of 7 for 5 nights. It accommodated us all. The shower was incredible and the couch was very comfy. The host communicates very well and quickly. He knew the internet wasn't working before we even before we did and was right on getting it fixed.
Home was clean and ready for our stay. Perfect location for our needs. Came to Erie for a Field Hockey Camp at Mercyhurst & got to enjoy Presque Isle for a few days too. Enough rooms for the teenager & college student to both have their space, and it’s located in a peaceful neighborhood too. Lot’s of restaurant options within a quick drive. Host was quick to answer questions - very respectful, polite, & accommodating. We had a great, relaxing weekend as a family (our dog Bailey included).
We had a great long weekend staying in Erie. The house was in a convenient location and a nice neighborhood. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our group of 4. The beds were comfortable. Furnishings were simple but priced right. Great value.
My adult kids & I stayed here for a wedding and brought our 20lb dog. It was exactly as noted in the listing. The owner is a GREAT communicator. The only concern was ants in the kitchen but Erie was experiencing record rainfalls the days prior to our stay and record heat during the stay so that's the real culprit not the cleanliness. We would book again.
Very nice and clean . The beds were amazing best sleep i have got in a long time . About 15 minutes away from all the good fishing holes .10 minutes away from route 5 alot of restraunts .
Cozy and cute cottage, perfect for short trip with my friend and her small dog. We stayed 4 nights, great central location. The kitchen has very little counter space but is adequate basic needs and who wants to cook on vacation anyway!
We loved the house and the kids really enjoyed having their own space upstairs. The location is in such a good place, close to the thruway but just far enough where you dont have constant traffic. We look forward to coming back here yo stay again.
Plenty of room for the five of us. Beds were all very comfortable. Cute little house for a getaway. Owner was very responsive and acceptable of requests. Place was very clean. Thanks Jesse for a very nice stay!
We had a great weekend trip with our 2 year old and dog. The ower was very prompt to answer any questions. Very clean and great location to everything. More than enough room .Would definately go back😊
Had a long weekend scheduled around a fishing charter. We were very central to everything in Erie, from Peach Street to the bay front and only 15 mins to Walnut Creek. Highly recommend McGarry’s Pub that’s only a mile down the road as well.
We had a great experience with this property. The house was able to accommodate 4 teens and two moms perfectly. The linens were clean, as was the rest of the house. We were also able to enjoy the fire pit, with enough seating for us all, with the chairs provided. The beds were also clean and comfortable. The driveway was able to fit two cars comfortably as well. There is a gas station only a short walking distance away, so getting essentials and snacks were not an inconvenience.
The property is very close to I-79 and very convenient to the Zoo, Peninsula, and Bayfront. The neighbors are very friendly. There is a convenience store about a block away and Catholic Church (Blessed Sacrament) right across the street. Although Jesse was on the road, he was available to help me (71 year old non-tech savvy) to manipulate the keypad at the front door. It's a safe neighborhood and I wouldn't hesitate to use this listing again.
Stayed here for the eclipse with wife and 2 small kids (3 & 6). House was great! Kids were able to share the upstairs room with plenty of space. Downstairs bedrooms are on the small side but more than adequate for our needs. Neighborhood was quiet, even during the eclipse. Short drive to the zoo, Presque Isle, and downtown. Houses are close together but rarely even saw the neighbors. Nice backyard with chairs and a table. Off street parking is appreciated. Convenience store is less than a block away and was great to get snacks for the kids when needed. Owner was easy to get in touch with. Overall, an enjoyable stay. Thanks for helping to make our first total eclipse a great experience!

Bare minimum
I have stayed at several VRBO properties. This property had the bare minimum for our stay. The property boasts that it sleeps 8. However there is only seating for 4 in the living room. And seating for 3 in the kitchen. There is only one dish towel and minimal cooking utensils. There is also no toaster in the house. Each bedroom has only a bed and a small side table. And no where to put your clothes unless you plan on hanging everything on the 4-5 hangers supplied in each closet. On day 5 of our week long stay, I took what I thought was a clean towel out of the linen closet for my shower. I wrapped my hair in it to dry. When I took it out I noticed that it was filthy and looked as if someone had cleaned up vomit and then folded the towel and put it back in the closet.
This property has the potential to be a great place to stay but it needs a few more of the comforts of home.
