We loved the cozy, mid-century modern feel of this place—it almost feels like staying in a treehouse, and the location is fantastic. The chef’s kitchen was especially well equipped, and the entire home felt thoughtfully designed, with a great balance of style and functionality. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very cool, unique MCM treehouse in the Michigan woods. It's peaceful, beautiful and nicely appointed. There's an art nook that also made for a great office for some work calls. The beach is really nice and while not right across the street, it is a short and pretty walk. The position off East Shore Drive (gorgeous) and on the peninsula is great. Convenient to the rest of OMP and Traverse City downtown, Elk Rapids, etc. If you are looking for a fun, funky experience with plenty of elbow room and a great vibe, this is a really good spot.

The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 3 children. It was clean and well furnished with easy access to and within a few minutes of downtown Traverse City. The open concept first floor plan with views into the woods, a large screened eat-in porch area able to accommodate all of us, along with the hot tub, and private beach area are a definite plus. The host was very responsive to our communications. All in all it was an excellent experience for our family gathering.

Beautiful Home in the Trees

Our family enjoyed spending a week in this gorgeous home. Perfectly located close to the beach and town. The house itself is spacious and sets up well for families or a group of friends. It’s extremely well furnished and comfortable and we had every single thing we needed. A definite 10/10.

family reunion

Terrific location close to town but away from the hustle and bustle. Very well appointed home - comfortable common spaces and a complete kitchen lacking in nothing you might need to prepare your meals. Truly one of the finest VRBO experiences I've ever had.

Great Vacation Getawy

We had a wonderful stay! The location is great, in the middle of everything. We biked to wineries and the farmers market, had a campfire on the beach, and had dinner on the screened in porch every night. We were there with 3 adult children and their partners and were very comfortable. The host was very responsive and answered all our questions.

Beautiful Retreat any time of year

The location outside and inside is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked, and the owners went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed. When issues developed with the house, the owners made sure to make things right and went above and beyond to save what would ultimately be my mother's last Thanksgiving dinner. I'm so thankful that we chose this house.
