The Luna Lodge

The Luna Lodge is a well-equipped, moon themed home with a large patio and yard situated between Paonia and Hotchkiss with easy access to all of the amenities, wineries, recreation and attractions the area offers. Enjoy the large patio and yard with grilling area and patio table with seating for 10. Gaze at the night sky with the house telescope around the fire pit with 8 adirondack chairs and covered dining area. Inside you'll find a chef's kitchen with new, stainless steel appliances and large gathering island (Seating for 5) with an attached 8 seat dining area. 3 formal Bedrooms, 2 additional sleeping rooms with half walls, and 2 living rooms with blow up mattresses offer plenty of room for all your guests to lay their heads. The lower living room with open concept to the kitchen offers a great entertaining area while the upr living room/ movie room offers reclining leather sofas with a 65" smart tv and Sonos sound system. High speed internet, smart tvs in every bedroom and sleeping areas, mobile speakers, office area, fully equipped laundry room, games, work out equipment and more round out this comfortable home. Need more space? We have another rental on the property... Search for the "Moon House," located next door, and available to book as well with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

A maximum of 2 dogs may be allowed with prior approval, payment of the pet fee and adherence to the rules (please keep dogs off beds and couches, do not leave alone in the home, clean up waste)

We spent a weekend in Paonia for a family wedding and the Luna Lodge was perfect for our party of 12. We’ve stayed at many BnBs and this was one of the best. Owners responded quickly to all inquiries, it has everything you could possibly need, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great family spot for peaches!

This property was fantastic for our group of 8 (6 adults, 2 kids and a dog). Very nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and linens. Great kitchen which we used frequently. Located with close proximity to peach picking in Hotchkiss and Paonia. We also enjoyed a visit to the black canyon if the Gunnison- and highly recommend! Overall this property was great for our needs. The hosts were friendly and easy to work with. Our kids enjoyed running around the yard and visiting with the horses next door.

Family Gathering

Two families stayed together at the house, there were 12 of us in total. Everyone was so pleased with the property. The pictures don't do it justice, it's much bigger than we realized. The beds we so comfortable. There were all types of small appliances if you needed them. Hosts were extremely responsive before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Wonderful for family of all ages

Our family was in town for our son's wedding. We had with us 3 generations of family, including my elderly mother in law, age 87. The home was clean, and was cozy without being cluttered. There were nice nooks for different people to "have their own space" when they wanted to. The views out the dining room window are absolutely beautiful, and the swamp cooler worked great. Instructions were great, only 5 things to do for checkout. Whew! Easy! Thanks so much for a wonderful experience.

Excellent House for Large Family

My wife and I were thrilled with our stay at the Luna Lodge. From the outside it appears as a ranch-style house, but inside it is very spacious, excellently decorated and well equipped. As musicians we appreciated the instruments in several areas, even if just for esthetics. My and I in particular enjoyed the master suite which has a walk-out patio area, and a decent size closet to hang clothes. Our adult kids enjoyed the large upstairs common area between the two loft-style bedrooms where they stayed. And our dogs enjoyed the large amount of green area where they could stretch their legs. In short, this is the best rental we have ever enjoyed - thank you!
