Family weekend
We came to Omaha for 3 nights to celebrate my son’s college graduation and a family wedding. We arrived at the rental and the outside seemed taken care of but bushes needed trimmed and grass was kind of mowed. Checkin process was easy but then went inside and looked around. The carpets were filthy with stains all over the place. The bathrooms were nice and clean and looked recently updated. The kitchen was also nice and clean but pulled out the kitchen chairs and the fabric seats had stains all over them as well. We didn’t use the kitchen but the fridge and dishwasher seemed nice. The refrigerator still had someone’s food in it and old ice cream bars in the freezer. We looked outside to the back yard and the grass was at least a foot tall if not taller and the deck was pealing. The picture on the website made it appear to have a well manicured lawn, with a nice fire pit, grill and deck. The grill had no cover so it was dirty and with the grass being so high u couldn’t even see the fire pit hardly. Thank goodness we didn’t have any little kids with us or plan on using the back yard because you wouldn’t have been able to. It was nice being able to pull into the garage and the beds were pretty comfortable. We did not use the downstairs but again, the carpets were filthy as well as the stairs. If the owner would replace the carpets and some of the furniture, this rental would be real nice as it is in a nice location but as is, it’s definitely not worth the money we paid and back.
