Our family really enjoyed our stay The home has a gorgeous view, is very comfortable and family friendly. We have already recommended to a friend looking for a getaway
A great place to stay in the Catskills. Home is clean and open with great views of Lyonsville Pond from throughout the house. It is close the restaurants, farmers markets and hiking/biking trails.

Not what we expected
I was excited for my stay at this house due to the description, but upon arrival, there were many disappointments.
1. The lake is, for lack of a better word, disgusting. It is completely overridden with algae and is just not pleasant to look at.
2. The description says 3 acres of land however, only about 1/2 an acre is actually available. The rest is covered in thick, overgrown greenery which has ticks. The grounds are uneven and on a slope so we couldn’t set up the volleyball net we brought nor could we really do anything outside.
3. The water quality in the house was unacceptable. It had a pungent smell that made it impossible to do everyday things like brush our teeth, wash our face, make ice, and even shower.
I would not have booked this house knowing any of these details especially at this price although the house itself is nice on the inside. We followed the check out rules which were that we had to do all our dishes, take out the trash and generally clean the house. Overall very disappointed in the property.
