Everything about our stay was seamless. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Our host was always very quick to respond during the planning process and lovely to communicate with. We couldn't have asked for anything better and hope to visit again in the future.

Amazing property in the best location minutes from all the beauty the Gunks have to offer! I surprised my wife for her birthday and we had the most relaxing time with hours in the perfect pool. One day she enjoyed the Mohonk spa and I enjoyed mountain biking at Lake Minnewaska. We couldn't have had a more perfect stay and will be back.

Relaxing stay in idyllic setting

We had a wonderful stay and left feeling relaxed and refreshed. The house was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The property is private and serene, surrounded by nature, with a beautiful pool and gardens. The host was kind and accommodating. There is a lot to explore in the area (hiking, biking, dining, shopping, spa). Would absolutely stay again.

Location and Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - you are surrounded by woods and birds while in a very comfortable home. We actually didn't use some of the high value amenities (swimming pool for example). We had some fun trying to figure out how the house looked originally and how it was modified but without much success. Big rooms provide plenty of space.

Our stay was wonderful. The property was secluded and private. There is a sense of serenity and stature how the house is situated on top a rolling hill upon your arrival with tree scaped views of the cliff always reminding you of their presence. The main house has abundant character, well lived and renovated to purvey a sense of modern while projecting historic farm character. It is well-built, maintained and appointed. The living room area is comfortable with great furniture for relaxing. The large master bedroom and master bath are fantastic. Guest bedroom in main house has dedicated access to the second bath and my son was very comfortable. The kitchen and dining area is spacious, well equipped very functional- leading out to the pool amenities, landscapes and driveway accesses. The pool is fully decked out yet has character with follower lined enclosure. The pool house made a great touch to give our family plenty of space and privacy which includes its own private bath. My adult daughter loved this space and made it her own.The entire compound has many perks and areas to enjoy such as the garden and barn space. This property is special and is the quintessential Gardiner/GUNKs experience.
