Welcome to the Medical District Matador Retreat, a newly remodeled vacation rental that offers the perfect home base for your Lubbock getaway. This spacious 4 bedroom and 2 bath home has an open concept design, making it perfect for large groups or families.

As soon as you step inside, you'll notice the modern and luxurious decor. The spa-style primary bathroom is one of the many highlights of the house, with a large walk-in shower and a double vanity. Each bedroom has comfortable beds with 5-star linens and a large smart TV, ensuring a good night's sleep and plenty of entertainment options.

The open kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances and all the kitchenware you'll need to prepare delicious meals. The dining area and living room are spacious and comfortable, making it easy to relax and entertain. High-speed WiFi is available throughout the house.

Each bathroom is stocked with toiletries and features Tecolote Handmade Soaps, a local favorite in West Texas. The laundry room is fully equipped with a large capacity washer and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board.

From the communication to the ease of check in, this place was spot on with everything. 4 of us stayed for a bowling tournament, and there was plenty of room. Super quiet neighborhood with easy access to all of Lubbock. We will be back next year for sure!

Perfect family stay

Stayed here on the occasion of a family gathering for a memorial service. Chose this house because of the multiple dining areas (inside and out), welcoming living area, and the larger-sized bed options. The home was impeccably clean and comfortable and the owner was easy to communicate with, even checking on our safety after a bad storm came through. Would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend.

The house was beautifully decorated, well stocked, very clean and comfortable! Not to mention the perfect location for our trip to walk down memory lane at Tech. Trent was wonderful and quick to respond when we had a question. Overall a great stay! We will definitely stay here again we come back to LBK!

Restful Stay

We stayed at the property for a few days getting settled with medical care at UMC. The home is clean, very welcoming, quiet, with plenty of room. Bedrooms are great, bathrooms and kitchen well stocked, and we appreciated the YouTube TV in every room. Really great place and I am sure we will be back.

The home was perfect for us. Very clean, cozy, and decorated well. Location was perfect and close to the campus and good restaurants. Rooms were spacious. Nicely remodeled bathrooms. Plenty of space for parking. Comfortable bedding and beds, coffee bar was definitely a plus to not have to worry about having to go out to get coffee. We will definitely stay in a property owned by this company again!

Great family getaway

This house is just as advertised. It is spacious, clean, well stocked, and nicely decorated. We needed a place to stay with our adult children for a couple of nights and this place was great. We did have an issue with the sheets on a couple of beds not being clean, but the owner responded immediately and sent someone immediately to rectify the situation. I appreciated their responsiveness and willingness to make our stay exceptional. I would definitely stay here again.

Family seeing grandbaby

This house was perfect for our stay. The open layout allowed all the family to be together when we met our granddaughter. We got to cookout and the kids enjoyed playing cornhole in the huge yard. The patio are is nice as well. But omg, the master bath. The boyfriend says we have to get a shower like that now.

We came to Lubbock to visit my parents and introduce them to their great grand daughter!

The property was absolutely beautifully furnished, with recently updated bathrooms that were lovely! They added charging/ electrical ports in every bedroom on both sides of the beds which I thought was a nice touch. Most older homes have limited electrical outlets and they are usually in inconvenient places. The property manager was super responsive to any questions or concerns. We would definitely stay there again!

Overnight in Lubbock

The house was extremely comfortable, clean and perfectly located. Beds were great. Coffee provided and sugar, etc. Would prefer a bigger hot water heater (we ran out of hot water for 4 people), and bottled waters in refrigerator. Requested late check out and we were turned down. However, none of these deficits would keep me from coming back.

Wonderful weekend visiting college kid. The vrbo house was fabulous and cozy. It was clean and comfy. The mstr bedroom was beautiful - had a king size bed - firm mattress. Mstr bathroom was gorgeous. Loved the kitchen and outdoor grill. Was able to cook and bake for college kid to have food for the week. The fridge ice maker doesn’t work. Kitchen needs a strainer. But it didn’t impact our stay. The vrbo owner was easy to access. Great place- great host.
