Originally envisioned by Hollywood’s founder, Joseph Young, as part of his dream to create a premier South Florida resort town, the Broadwalk began as a wooden boardwalk and later evolved into the now-famous pink cement path, inspired by Atlantic City.

Today, the Broadwalk stretches 2.5 miles along the ocean and offers a lively, family-friendly atmosphere with no vehicle traffic between the beach, shops, and restaurants—making it safe, walkable, and incredibly charming.
