Just a short drive from the Summit Stage Bus Stop on Main Street in Fairplay, you can enjoy days spent sightseeing and browsing around the town of Breckenridge, without the hassle of driving back and forth over Hoosier Pass yourself!
Step through the front door of FairHaven, and into a bright and cheerful, open concept kitchen and living space. With spacious seating around around the TV directly adjacent to the large dining room/kitchen, spending quality time with loved ones on your family holiday is a breeze! The well-stocked kitchen ensures that you'll have everything you need to whip up your families favorite meal, and the large dining table with comfortable seating for 6 offers the perfect place to unwind for meal time or game time alike. The ground floor of the home offers numerous entertainment options, modern amenities and a conveniently placed half bathroom.
Step up the stairs to the second floor of the home where you will find the 3 well appointed bedrooms. The Master Suite offers beautiful views of the town and the surrounding valley. The comfortable queen size bed fitted with cozy cotton bed linens, ensures you wake well rested for whatever your vacation days have in store. The Master En Suite Bathroom features a standard toilet, vanity, and bathtub/shower combo - so you can choose to start your day with a quick rinse, or sink in for a long hot soak after a long day on the slopes. Just across the hall, the Queen Bedroom offer a comfortable queen size bed and spacious a closet. The open area Bunk Bedroom, features a set of over-sized bunk beds, a small television and a Foosball table that offers hours of entertainment at your fingertips.
This home offers a large garage bay, which is a rare find for short term rentals in the area and makes unloading and loading all of your adventure gear a breeze. Guests also have use of the full-size washer and dryer - so no need to waste precious vacation time at the laundromat in town.
Park County is an activity center of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. This area is a great "Base Camp!" If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will likely find it within 10-20 minutes of the cabin. Activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing, snow-shoeing, horseback riding (winter too!), ice climbing, fishing, hunting, rafting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, mine exploration, canoeing, kayaking, and much much more. Welcome to your comfortable and hassle free, Park County home away from home!

Awesome get away during the holidays!
Great central location with easy access to multiple ski resorts for day trips, and all the local stores necessary to enjoy a fun and relaxing get away!
Yes the host was good. Couches were dated. Table chairs need maintenance. Good heater. Beds were nice. Showers were nice. Bring shampoo They did provide paper towels and toilet paper Parking was tight for a single vehicleDrive way was narrow and was shared with the neighbor and the people next to them. There wasn’t anything amenities to really speak of if you wanted something basic like coffee you had to bring your own. When asked about what was in cabin I got a generic cut & paste from Verbo. The cabin…. “Duplex” was very comfortable

Thank you for sharing your feedback. The amenities provided are all listed in the property description, and when you reached out we also sent a list of the essential items included, such as linens and paper products. In the check‑in instructions sent a week prior to arrival, we noted that guests should bring their own toiletries (bath soap, shampoo, etc.) for health and safety reasons. As this is a vacation home rather than a hotel, we cannot guarantee the availability of items like coffee or other non‑perishables, so we recommend guests bring these to avoid disappointment. The listing also specifies that the property is one half of a duplex, which means the driveway is shared with the occupants of the other half.

Clean and accessible
FairHaven is the cleanest vacation home I have stayed at yet. We especially enjoyed the accessibility to anything in Fairplay, CO. From the grocery store to the restaurants and neighboring towns such as Breckenridge. Fairplay is not that far from Denver and Colorado Springs either for a day trip as well.
Second Home was readily available for any questions we had.

Convenient Mountain Retreat
This half of duplex is conveniently located on outskirts of FairPlay. The accommodations were adequate, but nothing special. Space was as described and we did not encounter any major problems during our week in the unit. The main floor TV was great, but furniture was worn and not very comfortable. The kitchen was functional, but additional cookware and flatware were needed. The property had been “ cleaned “ prior to arrival, but there was a layer of dust on most of the furniture. There was no usable outdoor space or views to enjoy as other properties in the area offer.

October 6-8 - Cleanliness
Cleaning was not up to standard in several places, and we noticed our upstairs carpet had been damaged.
Kitchen towel (that was wrapped around a new cleaning sponge) was visibly dirty, shower curtain had dirty water stain at bottom from standing water in master bath/shower.
Welcome card on master bed was worn with visible stain.
Banana left from previous guest and/or cleaning team.
