OCCUPANCY LIMIT 6 - 3-bedroom 2 bath just steps away from shared waterfront access with a swim float and a shared dock. You also have access to a larger sandy beach a short walk away. The nice size back yard is flat, has a patio with views of lake. The downstairs is an open concept with one bedroom with 2 twin beds, plus a full bath. A king and queen are in the bedrooms upstairs, along with another full bath and an additional sitting area. Each bedroom has a fan. The property offers a washer and dryer and has well equipped kitchen.
Waterfront/Lot Description: Shared waterfront access just steps away. Dock: Yes (SHARED, FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING ONLY) Mooring: NO. Swim float: Yes.

The house was really nice! Kind of reminded me of a grandmothers house. Very comfortable. Beds were nice the weather was nice and was able to have the windows open at night and have the cool air come in. Easy access. Nice accommodations. The host was quick to respond.

We very much enjoyed out stay. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we would need, and the house was very spacious for our family of 5 adults, and one infant. It was an easy walk to the lake. Parking is difficult due to the fact that Ward's Cove is so tight. Two cars policy in the driveway is challenging.

We had a great time. The location, proximity to the beach, and number of bathrooms were the best part of our stay. A family of 5 plus a Grandma, the space was great! The view was out of this world! The pictures online do not do it justice. When you fall asleep listening to the waves and wake up to the most picturesque view. It was wonderful. The pictures online were a little deceiving because the furniture is no longer bright and new looking. It's dingy and stained, but it's a rental beach house so I wasn't upset about this. That's pretty much par for the course. Even though therewas a wash house on deck the sand is everywhere and impossible to get off. The musky/mildew smell was overwhelming at first, we grew use to it. The last place we stayed at in Destin was the same, so I'm assuming that's typical now for beach properties. Too much moisture in the air. Only other thing I would have appreciated was more dish towels and dish soap and trash bags. Giving us 1 trash bag for an entire week with 6 people was not great. Having to come on vacation and buying a week's worth of groceries for six people was enough money spent but add in basic necessities like paper towels, soap, dish detergent, and trash bags was disappointing. This was the first vrbo i stayed in that didn't have sufficient supply available for guests. I get the laundry soap, it's our choice, but dishes and trash, it's a full kitchen so you should assuming guest will be eating in it and using dishes.
