The Mountain Abode is the perfect getaway!✨
Surrounded by nature with easy access from the main highway. Just a short drive to the casino, shopping, dining, and surrounding outdoor activities! You can unplug if you want to, but if you need to be connected, we have super fast fiber optic internet! You'll find comfort and style inside, with a cozy living room with a ROKU/Smart TV, and kitchen with full size appliances, and spa-like shower in the bathroom with rain shower head and body jets.

The space
Small space, big style in this beautiful mountain abode! We brought the outside in with touches of nature throughout. Cabin touches without being too "cabiny".

LIVING ROOM: The living room has comfy modern furniture and a cozy stack stone electric fireplace with a ROKU/Smart TV.

KITCHEN: Full size appliances include a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, Keurig coffee pot, toaster, dishes and cooking utensils. Salt, pepper, other spices are provided, along with paper towels, aluminum foil, and zip lock bags. Everything you need to cook in your home away from home.

EATING AREA: High top table with 2 swivel bar stools, and 2 folding TV trays to pull up to the sofa or chair.

BEDROOM: The space includes a queen size bed with 3 inch memory foam mattress topper. Extra pillows and blankets are provided. Outlets with USB ports on each side of the bed for keeping your phone charged.

BATHROOM: Enjoy the walk-in shower "experience" with full body shower jets and rain shower head. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and toilet paper provided.

COVERED PORCH/DECK AREA: 2 bentwood rocking chairs and outdoor table and chairs.

OUTDOOR AREAS:
*Outdoor Soaking Tub!!!
*Fire pit and chairs (firewood provided but you might have to split it..bring your own axe!)
*Charcoal grill for cooking out

NEARBY THINGS TO DO: There are lots of opportunity for tubing, boating, fishing, and rafting (Nantahala River, Ocoee River, Fires Creek, Little Brasstown Creek, Lake Hiwasee, Lake Chatuge, Lake Nottley). If you're a mountain biker, there's Hanging Dog Mountain Bike trail in Murphy, and a short drive to Jack Rabbit Mountain Bike Trail & hiking in Hayesville, Tsali Recreation Center in Bryson City, and Aska Trails in Blue Ridge GA .

THE AREA: Murphy is the perfect "base" to explore many surrounding outdoor adventures, including hiking trails, motorcycle routes, scenic mountain drives, along with several rivers and lakes. Historic downtown Murphy is less than 10 minutes away with many restaurants, unique shops, bookstore, and the Murphy River Walk. Harrah's Valley River Casino is about 10 minutes away! You can also go gem mining, fly fishing, rafting, tubing, horseback riding and much more. It's the perfect starting point for all your mountain adventures! Best Valentine’s Day trip ever!

This trip was exactly what my husband and I needed! The tiny house was perfectly sized for the two of us, but could also comfortably fit up to a family of four. Our host was very attentive and majored to check in often to ensure we were having an incredible stay. Best of all the tiny house is just a short driveway from multiple great places to eat! Tiny House with Big Hospitality

We loved our stay at The Tiny House. The owner was very responsive to questions and checked in with us daily. The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and the two of us had all the space we needed! The details, from coffee, popcorn and s’mores ingredients all the way to the cozy porch with rocking chairs, soaking tub and fire pit made our stay positively relaxing and perfect! Wonderful Stay at This Adorable Home

I was looking for a getaway and I got just that! The home was absolutely perfect. It was a small cozy space that had everything needed. There is also great amenities such as the hot tub and the fire pit. Unfortunately we did not get to use them because it was absolutely freezing out but it would be wonderful for everyone else! Rhonda and Chad were very responsive and attentive during our stay. They even left a s'mores kit that we used to make microwave s'mores. This location is great with plenty to do around it regardless of the season. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a cozy escape from life!

Tiny home was cute and cozy for our weekend away. Owner was great at communicating with us. We had a minor issue and the owner responded quickly to try to get it resolved. Location was ok. We were disappointed the outdoor lighting that was on a timer never come on. Overall the stay was good.

Thank you for your review. We followed up with you during your stay and nothing was mentioned about the lights. They are currently working, so most likely, the timer just needed to be reset after a power outage, which is as simple as pushing a button. We would have happily walked you through it had we have known.

we have wanted to experience tiny house living and even though we only stayed 3 nights they were wonderful! Our host answered any and all questions immediately....the abode itself had all amenities that we needed.....very cozy...and loved the decor! tastefully done and not over the top! if we ever go to Murphy again we will def be trying to hook up here again.....thank you for sharing Rhonda!

Loved the tiny house

The owner did a great job of furnishing the tiny house so that it was pretty, fully equipped with some amazing added touches. (There was a basket in the kitchen with s’more making supplies). We love camping and this stay was almost like camping. Really nice big porch to sit and enjoy the outdoors and a nice fire pit. It was cold while we were there so we didn’t get to use the soaking tub but we did use the fire pit. Any time I had questions, the host was prompt and very helpful. Thanks❣️

From the time the reservation was made until we were checked in Rhonda was in communication with us. And gave us a way to contact her immediately if we had a problem during our stay. That was awesome! The place is decorated beautifully and very comfortable. We wanted for nothing. It was all there. There was a little welcome basket with supplies to make somemores at the fire pit and CHEETOS! What a treat! Loved it and loved our stay! The area had lots to do with hiking, biking and shopping. Some great restaurants. And hands down the friendliest people you'd ever want to meet! You will enjoy your stay! Rhonda is a great host!

The pictures and description do not do this place justice. Absolutely adorable and cozy. It was easy to find, check in process was fine. The host really went all out and thought of everything, right down to the s'more supplies on the counter. I absolutely loved sitting on the covered porch in the rocking chair while I had to work. The rental is near other houses, but it is set up in a way that you would never know they were there. I would love to visit when its warmer and use the soaking tub outside! The bed was also very comfortable, with plenty of extra blankets! This was our first time renting outside of a hotel and the host definitely made it a great experience! 10/10 recommend!
