This rustic log cabin is constructed from 100-year old logs and is in a beautiful wooded setting, giving you a true Appalachian experience. Relax and kick back in the rocking chairs on the deck or in the hot tub, both overlooking 3 small ponds. If you're lucky, you may even see the ducks or the bears!! This cabin features a wood burning fireplace, washer/dryer, indoor Jacuzzi and wireless internet.

The cabin was perfect for a family of 6. We saw a ton of wildlife including bears, wild turkeys, the ponds were wonderful to explore and the location was convenient. Highly recommend.

Location is perfect. Not on a resort which is great, but still close if wanting to go out in an evening. Kitchen is not well equipped if wanting to cook. Has the very basics. We're probably the odd ones who don't eat out even on vacation. The cabin was fun, cozy, and private.

Gatlingburg trip

The cabin was absolutely the cutest ever. The front porch was the best for evenings after our trip out. After 5 the bear comes out every afternoon. Would and will recommend this cabin and will use it on our next trip in the fall.

Cabin in the woods

This was a very lovely area, cabin was homey and felt like we were in the mountains. The hosts was quick to respond to any of our concerns. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Duck Pond cabin

Amazing

The drive to piegon forge and gatlinburg were both short and easy to drive! The cabin is small and quaint and feels like home! Absolutely loved our stay here! We didnt see any bears but we did see a wild turkey and some frog handing out in the pond! Overall it was an amazing stay!

Overall Good

We had a great time on our stay. Some minor things need to be addressed in the description. Mostly the stairs to the upper level. They are quite steep, would be very difficult for older adults and small children. It would also be nice to have better lighting outside of steps to the porch. It also could use a good dusting inside especially on the decor in the stairway. Love the cabin otherwise.

For anyone that likes a rustic, well loved home this is the one. It is charming with all the duck decor and old furnishings. Great location! It’s close to everything, yet has a remote feel. Exactly what my family and I were looking for. We all wished we could stay just a little bit longer. And we look forward to going back to what just feels like our home in the mountains.

The cabin was cozy and fairly well equipped. The wildlife was amazing!! We saw bears on multiple nights, one even swimming in the pond!! And, we saw a bobcat walk past the cabin one evening! Also saw 2 snakes (not as exciting) one in pond and one crossing road. The bears were so cool though, one even walked the wall behind the cabin!!

Pros : Great cabin in a Great location .Easy to get to, plenty of room to park . Quiet setting , the only other cabin visible is high on a hill not really close to this cabin . Kitchen is fully equipped including drip coffee maker and blender, cooking utensils etc..Cons: no gas grill, there is a charcoal park grill outside of cabin but it hasn’t been used or cleaned for a while and something has built a nest inside, I’m sure you could clean it out . Bring charcoal and foil to cover the grate . Covered porch is covered in spider webs and debris ( you should expect this to some degree with a cabin in the woods), the two bedrooms are upstairs and the steps are steep . Only one shower upstairs and it is smaller than the one in our RV . Tip: bring test strips if you plan on using the hot tub .
