Property was just as described. Perfect location to everything. Very close to the beach, just ~ 5 min walk. The pool was really nice, felt good after spending the day at the beach. Property manager very quick to communicate, check in was a breeze. No complaints, would recommend!

Great location. Listing wasn’t available and received an upgrade!

A few days before our trip I received a call stating that the original room we booked had a water issue and that we wouldn’t be in that room we’d be in a bigger 1 bedroom condo. It was very nice and the location was perfect. 5 minute walk to the beach and a few little restaurants nearby. The communication with the property manager is great. Would definitely stay again!

I like the location of the property, the condo itself is not that great, its average to me, the air condition was not functioning for 2 nights of our 4 nights of stay. They are not flexible with check in and check out. Great location though, a lot of activities you can do. I give the location 10/10. And a walk to the beach.not an ocean view, partial ocean view it is.

Weekend Get Away

We had a fabulous time staying here. Very clean. Beautiful room with good ocean view. The carpet was so soft and felt great on our feet after being in the water all day. The room is next to the elevator and we never heard the elevator once. The pool is incredible. 2 min walk to beach on a nice path. Will be booking again and looking forward to staying. The beach is gorgeous here. The resort is so close to everything. Only a very short drive to Destin. Close to Baytown Warf. This room and resort was perfect in everyway.

Sandestin Luau II

This is our 2nd time o stay at Luau II. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The location is a 2 minute casual walk to the beach, and the Sandestin Resort is beautiful. The price was a great value in comparison to many other comparable properties. We only had to call Marcella once because we could not figure out the digital thermostate. She was quick to answer and help us relolve our issue. We would certainly recommend!

Easy access to everything. It was perfect for our needs.

We were in the area for a basketball tournament. My son stayed in the Hilton with the team and this complex was perfect for us. We walked over every morning for the devotion and to visit with the team before the games. Access to complex/condo was very easy and the parking was excellent. We were there for 5 days and didn’t have any issues. It’s exactly what I was wanting. Studio condo since it was just me and my husband. Our condo was right next to the elevator which I normally don’t like. But it was SO quiet. We were both shocked at how quiet the condo was. Saw many people with pets but never heard any of them. It was so cold that we didn’t have the opportunity to get in the pool but would definitely try it out if the weather was warmer. If we ever have the opportunity to go to this area again, we will definitely be staying here!

Cannot say enough nice things for Justin with Property Mgmt!! But having said that..you hate to have to reach out on a vacation. Hot water was non existent on day one, but quickly corrected. Told Hot Water heater turned all the way down. So for full disclosure..had problem and QUICKLY fixed. Location/ description was spot on and we had previous experience with Luau. Walk to Beach is SUPER quick. I did not consider this dated or rundown as other reviews noted. It is not a new property and I felt it was well represented. Covered deck parking is a great perk, as well as tram to good eats. The only thing missing in description and reviews ..which I will add...the bed needs to be updated. Extremely firm, could feel springs. I looked for bed comments, as you hate to have a horrible bed on vacation. No matter what you pay at Sandestin it is a premium and you expect a great sleep experience. THAT IS THE REASON FOR 4 STARS. Fix the bed and this unit could not be better for a couple who wants to enjoy local restaurants and not cook. There is room for a convection microwave HINT UPGRADE the microwave. We enjoyed our trip and felt we paid a good price for a long weekend trip in a studio.

Clean, cozy, and well equipped room on beautiful resort

The room is very nice with lots of space and has microwave, nice size fridge, and sink for convenience of preparing small meals! There are also gas grills In the beautiful courtyard to use. The room conveniently located closely to everything on this beautiful resort and a short walk to the beach. A great getaway for a great price!

Patricia, I am very sorry you feel this way. New carpet was installed this year, so your comment about the carpet seems off. Sleeper is also new this year and we are constantly updating little things, but since it is only a studio, there is only so much you can update.
