About this property

Crosslake Cabin with sand beach, sunsets & hot tub

A picturesque and very private lakefront setting with sweeping sunsets, towering pines and a 100’ of shoreline on the south side of Crosslake, the heart of the Whitefish Chain of 14 lakes. This 1.25 acre property features a recently updated three bedroom two bathroom cabin, a boat house at the lake’s edge (with sleeping and living area), a generous screen porch, and a patio with an 8 person Jacuzzi hot tub, fiver burner gas grill, and gas fire bowl/table. The beach enjoys all day sun and magnificent sunsets courtesy of the northwest exposure and includes a 40’ boat dock with an oversized lounging platform, a lakeside hammock for afternoon naps, a lilipad for floating and Adirondack chairs around the bonfire pit. The generous backyard is great for enjoying lawn games - volleyball, badminton, bags/cornhole, spike ball, ladder golf and croquet will all be available for guests. Inside, the cabin features a Sonos speaker system, 4K TVs in the living room and all bedrooms, a dining room that can seat eight and a large kitchen with new Maytag appliances and everything you need for cooking. Step outside and enjoy the bug-free screen-porch with a large Yardbird sectional couch and rocking lounge chair, another dining table for 6-8 and uninterrupted views of lake. The cabin and boat house comfortably sleeps 8-12: bedroom 1 (queen), bedroom 2 (king or two twins), bedroom 3 (queen), boat house (queen + twin day bed) and a sleeper sofa in the living room (queen). Both bathrooms have full showers and the north bath has a full stacked washer and dryer. Mini Split Ductless Air Conditioners cool every bedroom and living space in the Cabin, and a 10K BTU window AC unit cools the seasonal boat house. Heat is available in the cabin for the cooler days and nights.

Would Visit Again
We enjoyed our visit and would consider staying again. Property was in a great location. Our concerns were the cleanliness of one of the beds as there was sand and bugs on the sheets. The floors had recently been mopped, but question that they used a cleaning agent, as they definitely weren’t clean (but this would be on the cleaning service). Floors were sticky and dirty. I actually cleaned floors after we checked in. Appreciated owner extending check out due to cleaning service not being done when we arrived which we didn’t need but appreciated.

Cozy Cabin with Lots of Amenities
Our family of four stayed here over the week of July 4th and really enjoyed the cabin and the property. The cabin itself is older but has been nicely updated and is really well set up for a family. There are 3 bedrooms in the main cabin and all have their own A/C which came in handy on some of the warmer nights, and they all have their own smart TV’s. In addition to the main cabin, there is a very charming boat house that has been renovated as a kind of three seasons room with a bed, sitting area and it’s own A/C unit and TV. We loved sitting out there and playing games and watching the sunsets. The way the boat house sits, you feel like you are right over the water. In terms of other amenities, we loved having the hot tub and used it several times. There are tons of yard games available to use, and the property is very large so plenty of room to use all of it. There is a wood firepit and a gas firepit as well. Finally, there is a very nice dock with Adirondack chairs out onto the lake which we used for lounging, launching our paddle boards, and we rented a pontoon for a few days as well and the dock was great for tying up the boat when not in use. The kitchen was very well stocked so other than buying groceries there was nothing else we were missing, even Tupperware and ziploc bags for leftovers or snacks on the boat, chip clips, etc. The owners were very friendly and responsive and gave us good instructions for everything. We would stay again!

What makes this property unique

An oversized backyard and 100' of uninterrupted lake frontage make this property a perfect place to relax, play and make the most of lake living. Northwest exposure offers all day sun near the beach and towering pines provide pockets of shade through out the property. The cabin is recently updated to provide the comforts of home, and is well stocked for cooking, playing games and enjoying the lake.
