Beautiful place in a great location! We had fun renting bicycles down the street and walking to the closest restaurant. Our apartment was so clean and comfortable.
Great spot and was a great way to spend the evening after dropping a child off at Mizzou!
Host was great. Very good communicator and place was clean and perfect for 2 people.
Perfectly as pictured, well kept and meticulously clean! Short walk/ride to the Katy Trail along the most beautiful part of the trail! Dining options are limited in this cozy town, but the owners gave us a heads up of some options so we weren’t blindsided. Use of air conditioned garage for bike storage was a nice perk! Highly recommend!
This little gem was super clean, and although tiny, was organized to give optimum room for everything we needed.
And the closeness to the trail and bike&cafe shop was an added plus. W e took some of our own food, and there were dishes , utensils & cookware. (even a dishwasher) and the coffee pot was ready to turn on for 8 cups of delicious coffee.
This was the Mary Poppins of vacation rentals--practically perfect in every way and just like her little bag, there were a lot of amenities packed into this small space! Even though we didn't meet the host in person, we truly felt cared for with helpful notes and instructions placed throughout, and the coffee prepped and all ready to go with just a press of the button.
The amenities were top quality (like the adjustable bed, luxury shower, and kitchenette) and the location was excellent for use of the Katy Trail. We look forward to the opportunity to visit again!
Stopped here with my wife on our way across the country, only regret is not staying here another night to take full advantage of the trail system. A block off the gravel bike trail and from the bike shop cafe. Great food.
Apartment is super well done and seemingly brand new. Gas stove, small dishwasher, nice porch area w hammock. Would stay again.
Host wonderful and communicative, did not see her the whole time but felt like she was available if needed. Garage roomy and stored 4 bikes.
The owners of the Kozy Katy Retreat absolutely deserve a 5 star rating. The floors, counters, apliance choices, and shower stall all reflected a quality of being professionally designed. My wife and I enjoyed birdwatching, dinner, and a game of cribbage on the porch you see in the photo. The porch offers a very relaxing extension off the bedroom from where one has a wonderful view of the surroundings I just watched an episode of This Old House that featured the same lighting that adorns the patio. We are grateful that the owners accepted our minature schnauzer and feel so fortunate after pedaling the 35 mile scenic portion of the Katy Trail from Jefferson City to Rocheport to find a place likje this retreat.
We loved this place! Very clean and cute. Owner is very nice. We would, for sure, stay again :)

About the host
Hosted by Tami
I have lived in Missouri my whole life. Lived specifically in central Missouri for about 15 years. Fell in love with this quaint little town of Rocheport and visited quite a lot over the years walking the trail and just enjoying this peaceful town. So my husband and I decided to build a small home in town and move here. We had an efficiency apartment incorporated in our plans so we could rent it out to other people to come enjoy as well!
Why they chose this property
It is so close to the trail and a nice, peaceful setting with great neighbors!
What makes this property unique
It is very private and perfect for one or two people. The backyard and patio space is pretty special and enjoyed by everyone who stays here. We also have room inside for bicycles which is not very common in most properties in town.
