Birthday Trip to Indiana Dunes
We had a WONDERFUL time in Indiana ! And this property was the center of it all ! The view from the deck was absolutely SPECTACULAR and well worth the extra cost to be that close to the beach. So cool to see the Chicago skyline in the distance (even got it in a few pictures). We spent lots of time at the BEACH, skipping rocks, walking along the shore, enjoying the sounds, smells, breeze ... SERENITY ! I put my feet in the lake even though it was April. My daughter got a BEAUTIFUL picture of the SUNSET over Lake Michigan. We drove to Indiana Dunes National Park to do some HIKING and saw some really AMAZING views from the dunes. We also went to Blue Chip Casino for dinner and a little gambling (my first time). Topped it off with STEAK dinner and a movie at the house for my son's birthday. All in all it was a great trip. My only suggestion is metal utensils (plastic forks didn't do well on steak). Thanks again for a GREAT experience : )
