We vacationed at numerous beach towns on the west coast of Michigan while raising our kids, including Grand Haven, South Haven and Beachwalk in Michigan City. We enjoyed them all, but really fell in love with Beachwalk with it's resort feel and all it has to offer adults and kids alike. There is something for everyone. We decided to build a home which is a perfect location for families - atop Cason Park where kids can roam and be heard from the back porch.
Why they chose this property
We love the beauty of Beachwalk, the candy-colored homes, the board walk along Lake Kai, the new Clubhouse amenities and expanded pool area, all the great events throughout the week like Music In The Park, Yoga, activity rentals (boats, kayaks, paddleboards), the energy in the community, proximity to Lake Michigan with west exposure (looks like the California coast), and close proximity to Chicago!
What makes this property unique
Turquoise Door is very special to us. We pride ourselves on providing an immaculate home with everything a renter needs to enjoy their stay. Included are resort wristbands and a golf cart to get family and gear to and from the beach (3-4 minute drive). Most unique about Turquoise Door is it's prime location a short distance away from the hustle and bustle on Beachwalk Lane, sitting atop heavily wooded Cason Park. Kids can walk 50 feet and still be heard from the back porch, and seen through the kitchen window. The outdoor area includes a picnic table, grill, firepit, 8 comfortable chairs, patio lighting and bocce court. A wonderful environment to share time with family.
