If you live in New Mexico, you must likely know and have been to Jemez Mountains. The best way to describe it is that the terrane is constantly changing every few miles. From wide open desert vistas to tall rock canyons, dotted with pinon and juniper, to mountains covered in ponderosas....and it doesn't stop there.
