Enjoy the sugar white sandy beaches and emerald waters of Okaloosa Island that are just steps from this brightly decorated unit. The unit has a master suite with one and one half bath. The bedroom has a king size bed. There are hallway bunk beds for children and a queen sleeper sofa. The fully furnished kitchen and cookware to assist you in preparing homemade meals for loved ones. The spacious balcony is perfect for al fresco dinning and offers beautiful views of the waves rolling off the beach. There is a laundry room with a stack-able washer and dryer along with two TVs, two DVDs and a CD/stereo player. The unit also has free Wi-Fi.

Gulf Dunes was built in 1999 and is one of the premiere properties on Okaloosa Island. It has two Gulfside heated pools and a tennis court. There are two boardwalks that take you to directly to 426 feet of sugar white sands. Gulf Dunes is far enough from the crowds and busy traffic to enjoy the beach but close enough for walking to nearby shops and restaurants.

Needed maintenance for a small minor incident that was our fault with a shower door and they were there within an hour to fix. Can’t beat the included beach service either. Also pool was nice and cleaned every day! My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Everything was fine, bed was hard and uncomfortable and wish they included dish soap to wash dishes. The room was very clean. Location was great. Listing stated included coupons to some locations nearby but never saw those. Would book this room Again.

Relaxing & Fun!

We booked for a family get away and it was perfect for our family of four. Upon arrival the condo was very clean and inviting. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. I was a little worried about my sons (teen & young adult) fitting on the bunks, but they were good. The beach service was a nice plus! The bed was more firm than what we prefer, but it was comfortable. It was chill and quiet in the evenings. I’d definitely stay here again. It was very nice and the property management communication was amazing.

You could walk barefoot on the tile floors and your feet not turn black,like other condos we've stayed in.The 4th floor had a perfect view and the heated pool was great! Also, beach chairs and umbrella is included, which is awesome! There is Stewby's Seafood Shanty and Steamer restaurants, across the street, which are great and convenient. Having a lifeguard next to us was a bonus. We will definitely stay here again!

Awesome Vacation..

First I would like to give kudos to the management. Prior to my arrival they sent me restaurants to try and explained what to expect before arriving. Once we arrived the condo was exactly why was pictured. The unit was very clean. The view was spectacular we sat outside every morning and watch the birds catching fish and the dolphins swim. The the beach was amazing and the not having to drag down chairs was a plus. Overall we would recommend this unit hands down. Thank you for making our vacation amazing!! We will be back. 😃

The location with the beach is wonderful. We particularly enjoy the complimentary beach chairs/umbrella. The Stewby's food joint within walking distance is a distinct bonus. We have stayed at this location twice and we will be back.

First time staying in a condo, the view is beautiful. The condo was clean and updated. The layout was spacious. A few tips if you are a picky sleeper is to bring eye mask or cover for the curtains there's a automatic outdoor safety light that can be bright for some sleepers. Also the bed is on the firmer side, but there are the bunk beds and the sleeper sofa options. We had an issue with the sleeper sofa and management was quick to resolve. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this rental. Looking forward to our next visit.

Nice little condo

This condo is nice and a great ocean view. We had a couple items that were broken and the property manager responded right away. They could use a little updating which they seem to be in the process of doing. We appreciated the use of chairs on the beach in March. We stayed at this unit from January 6-April 2, 2025. Location is great with great restaurants on the island and tons of great restaurants in Ft Walton, Destin and Niceville.I would stay here again.

Condo can use some updating...SSVR staff top notch!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived in Saturday, the AC was not working. It was a holiday weekend, and would be Tuesday before the part would be available. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable by bringing in extra fans and keeping us updated on the status of the repair. Thankfully the temps were manageable. By Tuesday the entire unit ended up needed replaced. Thanks to Beverly and team for taking good care of us. As for the unit, some simple upgrades would go a long way. The silverware desperately needs to be replaced. There are a total of 5 forks. 4 of which have mangled tines. The rugs are awful as well..understand this is the beach, but they were so threadbare, they did nothing to help with the sand.

Walk to the beach is super short and we had great views of the sunset every night. Several restaurants are within walking distance. We rarely had to drive anywhere.

Short girls trip was perfect!

This place was absolutely perfect for our first ever girls trip. Great location, very clean and cozy. Only downfall was that there was no place to store our luggage before check-in so that we could enjoy the beach. Other than that, would definitely stay at there again!
