The cabin is truly beautiful and is definitely one of the best places we've stayed in the NC mountains over many years. Would rent it again. The layout was perfect for us three old ladies in our 70's! Host was attentive and quick to respond to our needs.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The Cabin was as described and very clean. We visit West Jefferson and enjoyed the small mountain town. The Cheese Factory was awesome. Couldn't find the creek until we took a wrong turn. LOL thanks from all four of us.

The cleanest property we have visited in recent years. Kitchen well stocked with cookware and china. Beautiful property with excellent view. Living room very comfortable with nice recliner furniture. Had minor problem with sink disposal leak, host had it fixed within an hour or so. Will definitely use this property again.

House was clean and tidy when we arrived. location made for easy access to West Jefferson. Host responded quickly when I inquired about the type of coffee maker the unit had. Enjoyed the large deck and the outdoor fireplace. Really appreciated the fact that the unit was pet friendly since we do not travel without our Maltese dog. Had to search for the units guidebook, but it was located in a drawer in the kitchen. Unit did not have additional toilet paper other than what was on the holders and we had to purchase some. Really wish with the unit being pet friendly that it would have had gates at each end of the deck to allow my puppy to roam free on the deck.

Very clean, comfortable and a nice big deck with outdoor fireplace. The hosts were very professional and helpful. The setting was a little to close to the neighbors and the gravel roads leading to the cabin were very rough.

What a beautiful home, so easy to get to, amazing view, the outdoor space is absolutely perfect for relaxing. The property manager was so awesome as well thinking of details about our dogs to insure the remained safe.

Quiet - Great Location - Small Things Matter

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was very nice - quiet. There are houses around but thanks to the terrain, only one is somewhat visible. The view from the deck is very nice. Property management firm was VERY responsive - we were impressed.Pros:- Location- Quiet- Dishwasher!!- Garbage Disposal!- Excellent Wi-Fi- Good TV access (via Dish Network)- Washer - Dryer but...- Tankless hot water- Very comfortable king sized bed- Good AC and heat- Comfortable sofaIssues:- Linens have long needed refresh. Owner would benefit - from replacing bed linens and towels every six months.- Two pots - one skillet - lot of lids???- Mismatched silverware- Junky outside and "thrown together" inside- Very small shower heads- Nice to have a "welcome" basket of amenities for guests such as K Cups, some snacks etc.- Very very cheap toilet tissue, paper towels and trash bags - bring your own- No toaster (but a fully functional toaster oven)- No Keurig coffee maker- Refrigerator was - believe it or not - too cold. Kept freezing everything in the refrigerator section.- Firewood caddy should be stored under the porch so firewood doesn't get wet in the rain- Sprayer on kitchen sink was broken- Washing machine needs the mechanical dial replaced (it's not electronic so it is a fairly simple repair job to replace the mechanical dial).

Quiet and peaceful

Our stay was nice and relaxing. Kitchen was stocked full with pots and pans and dishes for use which was great for staying in and cooking. The outdoor fireplace was very enjoyable as well. Great place to stay!

Winter Vacation

Very nice cabin with a fully stocked kitchen and 3 smart TVs. It’s about 45 minute drive to tubing and skiing. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

GREAT TIME

We had a great time this weekend. Home was beautifully decorated and had everything you would possibly need to stay a month! Very clean...Loved the location. Enjoyed watching the deer eat the apples that fell off the apple tree in back yard! Will definitely stay again!!!
