Completely renovated, Herb Cottage offers a delightful mix of luxurious appointments and bluestone charm, including:
• Comfortable living room with woodstove, bluestone hearth, 37" cable HDTV, Blu-Ray player, and an extensive library of books, games and DVDs.
• Fully-equipped country kitchen with a bluestone countertop, herb tiles from Mexico, and a sunny dining nook.
• Second floor loft bedroom with a king-size bed featuring a luxurious memory foam mattress topper and 100% cotton linens.
• First floor bathroom with an antique claw foot tub converted into a rain shower.
• Additional amenities include spa robes, WIFI, and a secluded bluestone terrace with bluestone table and gas grill.
• Optional: Reiki treatments and access to other holistic practitioners.

PETS
Well-behaved and crate-trained dogs are considered ~ please ask. Please note that dogs must be crated when left alone in the cottage, and leashed when outdoors. A $100/week pet fee per dog applies.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations that are made more than sixty days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations that are made between thirty and sixty days in advance of the arrival date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations that are made less than 30 days prior to check-in forfeit the full payment. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. Refunds will not be given due to weather or road conditions.

Had a perfect, snowy weekend at the Herb Cottage. Amazing location, loved the wood burning fire place, DVD collection and loft bedroom. Highly recommend for a Woodstock getaway.

We had a fantastic stay at Herb Cottage! The house was perfect for a long weekend in the Catskills, consisting of a cozy fireplace, comfortable bed, and walking distance to downtown Woodstock. The cottage was clean, the check in process was smooth, and communication leading up to our stay was top notch. I recommend staying here for your trip to Woodstock!

The cottage was very cozy and clean, well stocked, and not noisy considering it is just a few minutes from town. My only complaint is two days were extremely hot and the advertised AC amounted to a few fans!

Cozy Mountain Getaway

My boyfriend and I had a lovely time staying at Herb Cottage. The property is conveniently located making going to and from various hiking trails, Woodstock proper, Kingston and so on super convenient! Would definitely stay here again!

Great cottage steeped in local history

The cottage was exactly what we hoped for a long weekend stay. We especially enjoyed using the wood stove, and learning about the history of the cottage and the artist author who built the cottage.

Beautiful Cottage

The herb cottage was amazing. Has everything you need and is just around the corner from downtown Woodstock. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and were really pleased with the quiet and quaint environment the cottage offered. Would recommend for those looking for a peaceful relaxing stay. (also the wood stove is great)

Cozy weekend

My husband and I really enjoyed using Herb Cottage as a base to explore the Catskills and Hudson Valley areas. The place was as described and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove in the evenings.

Quiet and Peaceful

Lovely historic and charming cottage.

The property was very pretty and full of character. We were warm with the stove and heating and found the chairs and sofa extremely comfortable. It was within easy walking distance from the town. We were very happy with our choice and it was a perfect break from the stresses of New York!

My husband and I stayed for a little less then a week at this magnificent cottage. It was clean, comfortable and close to town . It’s small yet sweet and has everything you might need for a relaxing trip. The history is a big bonus and so interesting.

Oozing with charm!

Herb Cottage is quite the little gem. You can feel the history in this well appointed and charming home. The hosts could not have been more thorough and responsive during our stay. We look forward to our next visit through Woodstock.

Lovely Property!

We had an excellent stay at Herb Cottage. It was charming and homey. Check in was simple, guidelines clear. Lots of privacy which was great! I will say that although you could walk to downtown Woodstock, there are no sidewalks and I personally would not have felt safe walking down the road to town, especially since there is little shoulder.

Gorgeous peaceful cottage

For a peaceful getaway this cottage will serve you well. It’s a long walk (15 min) to central Woodstock and also feels quiet and away from the hustle bustle. Fully equipped, cozy, quaint place. Perfect for - couple and a small pooch, if you have one. Easy communication with owners rep.

Great Week @ Herb Cottage

Had the chance to enjoy this cottage and location for a week. It's a cozy little place just far enough off the beaten path of Woodstock to enjoy the peace and quiet and the cottage has a well equipped kitchen and great grill for bar-b-quing. Only suggestion for improvement is that the bed could be comfortable -- but other than that a GREAT EXPERIENCE and would definitely return another time

Wonderful, Relaxing Getaway

This is a lovely cottage that's perfectly situated between the town of Woodstock and the Overlook Mountain trail. Wonderful ambiance, great mattress, generously-appointed kitchen. Only caveat is that the ceilings are quite low in some spots — especially the kitchen entrance and the upstairs loft-style bedroom. Bumped my head a few times when I forgot to duck!

Last Hurrah

My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend at this cozy cottage situated within a 5-minute drive of Woodstock’s great shops and restaurants and equally close to Woodstock’s great hiking trails. After long days of walking and hiking we enjoyed relaxing on the chaises in the backyard, and in the evenings the expansive DVD collection was a treat!

A Comfort Zone

The location was perfect. The history of the residence fascinating. The hosts most accommodating. We had a problem that was quickly attended to and solved. Everything we needed was on hand and our dog loved walking about in the yard. Elder visitors alert: the top step is tough to negotiate, but we did.

The Joy of Herb Cottage.

My beloved and I just spent 4 unforgettable and wonderful days at Herb Cottage! We would have happily stayed for weeks. Judy's place is a peaceful haven and is a true gem. Very cosy, comfortable and heartwarming. Her assistant Chelsea went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of our stay went well. It was all brilliantly organized and free of any stress or concerns. We are deeply grateful for such a joyful experience.

Lovely cottage

Lovely in every way except loft area around bed. Didn’t realize I couldn’t stand upright. Was difficult to get around. Carpet could be replaced on loft. No idea it had such challenging steps to the bed. Cottage had a musty smell when first entered.

We had a wonderful time at Herb Cottage. It was everything we'd hoped it would be. Quaint and cozy and full of sunshine. Loved cooking in the kitchen and eating in sunlit breakfast nook. Wonderful selection of books, games, and DVD's . Especially loved the book `Woodstock, History and Hearsay`because it is about the cottage and the family that loves it. Appreciated that we could recycle and compost. The woodstove is awesome! Hated to leave and can't wait to come back Thanks again for a wonderful stay. Hope to be back soon
