This 4-bedroom house in Austin is perfect for your escape to the vibrant city, while also serving as your comfy country retreat! Nearby attractions include local wineries, a vodka distillery and showroom, a zoo and a stunning wildflower conservancy.
With 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, 1 bunk bed with full/twin, 2 pullout beds (1 double, 1 twin)this superb property offers comfortable sleeping arrangements for all guests. The 2 bathrooms come equipped with a bathtub, shower, and other essential amenities. Take a refreshing dip in our large enclosed pool, which is heated seasonally (for an additional fee) and has large roof mounted fans to help cool off in warmer periods. Go swimming at night if you want to! This pool is older and has a lot of character. We monitor the water quality online and maintain it before and after each reservation.
Bust out your inner BBQ chef by enjoying our covered patio with a propane grill, smoker, plenty of cooking utensils and outdoor seating. Take your dining and cooking experience indoors and use our full kitchen and dining room.There are also plenty of restaurants nearby if you want someone else to take over the cooking, or head downtown where you can sample everything from food trucks and taquerias to fine dining.
Perfectly suited for families or a group, we welcome you and your guests to enjoy our lovely family home. Up to two dogs are welcome, so your fur babies can join in the fun on our 1.2 acres.

We provide your four digit pin prior to your arrival. Enter at carport entrance. Tap in your code, push the rectangle, the circle will light up and you can hear the door unlock. Depress the latch on the door handle then enter. To unlock the slider at patio there is a sliding lock on the handle and a lower lock at the floor, touch that gently with your foot to unlock.

Our Dad retired from the Air Force and our large family was able to finally settle here just outside of Austin after many moves over the years. We all worked on our home over the years; from cleaning the pool once we had it installed, to picking rocks and building the stone fence at the front of the property and expanding the patio to eventually be large enough for the beautiful covered area you can now experience as our guests. We wanted to have a place we could continue to enjoy with our own friends and families and now we get to share it with you!
Why they chose this property
We have watched the live oaks on our property grow from size of bushes to the beautiful trees that shade our space. We have neighbors that used to ride on the school bus with us! We watched Austin grow and continue to stay weird and saw many of the shows that made it the live music capital of the world! We want to help you make memories here, this is important to us and we will try our best to accommodate every guest.
What makes this property unique
We didn't set out to be short term rental property owners and hosts, we just wanted to honor our parents by preserving and maintaining our family home. We delight in sharing this home with our own families and now with our guests and their friends and families.
