Enjoyed the place and area

The location is great for lake placid and easy quick access to town and surroundings. The deck is a bonus and overall the place is nice.

Good Hockey Weekend Stay

This property was pretty much as described, and view was nice. It IS up 2 flights of very narrow stairs, not regulation size so had to tread carefully but otherwise fine. PROs: VERY convenient location, walking distance to hockey arena, downtown, restaurants and the walking path around the lake. Newly renovated and clean, nice bathroom/shower, well-appointed and comfortable furniture. CONs: unit was very cold on a weekend that was still "winterish". Wall heaters were not working that we could tell. Owners contacted but didn't seem to think there was an issue since the rest of the building was not yielding complaints. Fortunately, there was a small space header available in the unit (so thinking this has been a past complaint). Overall, ok stay.

Peaceful Placid

High Peaks is a great space! The views were breathtaking! The apartment was laid out quite efficiently and was very clean. It is walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and Olympic venues

Clean property. No thermostat inside the unit. Very cold during a day and to hot at night. Not enough parking space. Driveway not plow, so it was impossible to park behind the building. Do not use microwave. After one minute of using power is going out. Unit is freshly remodeled, so looks really nice. Good communication with the property manager.

Right in town. Can walk to so many restaurants and shops. Apt. was so adorable, clean with a great view. We were here also to see our grandsons lacrosse tournament, which was only a mile & a 1/2 away. Definitely will come back.

Adorable studio for two.

Great location in Lake Placid. We walked everywhere. Loved the view of the mountains from the porch. The apartment had everything we needed, was comfortable and well equipped.

Fantastic location and great upgraded amenities

This location is fantastic, just a short walk to everything you’d want to see and do in Lake Placid. Tons of parking options, easy checkin process and the apartment was very nice. Comfortable bed, lovely view from the porch, and everything had just been remodeled so it was nice and new.

Great place to stay!

We had a great week long visit and were lucky enough to get this great spot for the 2 of us. It’s a perfect location, close to downtown and walking distance to everything. The hosts were very easy to work with and had great communication and answered questions quickly. The views are incredible as well! We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous!

Excellent location, clean and well appointed with top notch furnishings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The stairs to this third story unit are difficult to navigate- older building with irregularities, but the unit itself was well worth the climb. We are in our 60s and in good shape, but anyone with walking difficulties may want to look elsewhere.

2 excellent days in Lake Placid

Property was in great shape. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment. Venue was very quiet, as was the neighborhood. Good location - within 2 blocks of the Olympic Center/village shops and restaurants. Only one suggestion - a handrail for the stairs would be an excellent addition.
