Long Street Cottage - 5 bdrm/3.5 bath - North Downtown

North Downtown home with 2,500 square feet of living space and a fully fenced-in backyard. Hardwood floors throughout. A mile to the historic Downtown Mall.

Stately home with high ceilings, large open concept floor plan, large rooms, lots of light, and close to the downtown mall, 29, and UVA.

Stroll down the gorgeous Locust Ave, or enjoy your space with a fenced-in yard, a front porch that feels like you're in your own private tower, or the large covered back deck.

There is a master suite with a full bath on both levels (Main & Upper). There are 3 additional bedrooms upstairs as well as an additional bathroom. All bedrooms have king beds. There’s also a full-sized sleeper sofa in the living room and a half bath on the main level.

Fresh linens, towels, hairdryers, and a starter supply of daily essentials (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, dish soap and sponges, trash bags, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, etc.) are provided. Once the starter amount provided is gone, you will be responsible for buying what you need for the remainder of your stay.

Our group of six were in town for a long weekend to enjoy a concert, winery tours and a trip to Monticello, interspersed with waking to town to shop and eat. Our accommodations were great, plenty of room for each of the three couples to have privacy and comfort in the shared spaces. The property was clean and conveniently located for our activities. The property could have easily accommodated more guests, so we'll certainly consider this location for the future if we make our way back again! Property host was very communicative on all fronts.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The bedroom had finishing touches like sound machines. The kitchen could use a few new basic cooking updates - pots/pans and we had to do a wipe down of the kitchen upon arrival and the floors were not clean - feet/socks were dirty from walking on them starting the first day.

Long Street Cottage is great. The house is well stocked. The bedrooms and beds/bathrooms were perfect for our group and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is wonderful and very close to everything. I’d definitely go back. The host was highly responsive and very helpful. You can’t go wrong with this house!

Perfect Convenient Charlottesville Getaway!

This property was perfect and exactly as advertised. Very close and convenient to down town and only a short drive to the wineries. We had a large group of girls stay for a bachelorette party, and the property fit all of our needs perfectly. Easy check in/out process, and plenty of supplies for all your basic needs. Great spot for a family get-together

This comfortable, clean, and well-stocked house made our family Thanksgiving a success. Three generations could all relax or be active, cook in a very functional kitchen, and enjoy the result at an ample table in a large, open dining room or a covered back porch. Long Street Cottage was a great size for our group of 4 couples. Appreciated the king beds. House was very clean. One challenge was pulling out onto the street from the parking area as there were cars parked on the street that obscured sight line - better to back in for better sight line.

Perfect House for Group Stay

In town with a group of 10 women and this house was perfect. The kitchen and all the bathrooms were well stocked with all we needed. Small things like plenty of hangers, makeup wipes, fans, etc. All rooms with king beds and huge closets made it a very comfortable stay for all. Plenty of parking for the whole group as well. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. I would highly recommend booking your next Charlottesville stay here.
