Beware: This property is not near Bryce or Zion, though it is advertised that way. It is also much higher in the mountains than the parks, and so was still snowy/icy when we tried to get there. Our little rental car was not up to the task, so we ended up not being able to stay there and lost our entire rental amount. My request for at least a partial refund was turned down.

We apologize for the difficulties you experienced with your rental car. We inform all our guests that a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended for many of our Duck Creek properties, including this one. Both Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks are approximately an hour's drive from the property, making it a convenient location.
We understand your frustration, but our cancellation policy is clearly outlined. The challenges you faced were related to your travel planning and not the quality of our rental. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Beautiful nature views from deck
We selected this property to explore this area, enjoy some cooler weather (we had just been at a conference in Vegas) and use as a base camp (one hour away) for Bryce and some other hikes. The directions provided were accurate and we had no issues entering the house. The roads are gravel and hilly leading to the house. The cabin is very nicely appointed, comfortable and well stocked (except movie selection- mostly kids DVDs). We also spend a lot of time on the outdoor deck which is very nice and also has an awning. If using WiFi for watching movies, phone, music or anything is important you may want to check before renting or pick another place. We noticed the WiFi was not working at about 8pm the day we checked in. Of course, we try rebooting by unplugging devices several times to no avail. I reported the issue and was given the same advice several times to unplug. Finally, I was told that it was the holiday weekend (Memorial) and it would be unlikely they could get someone from the internet company out. This cabin is very remote so there is no Starbucks or anything like that to go to for WiFi. Make sure you bring groceries because there is very limited shopping/groceries in the small village.
There are also some amazing hikes nearby including Navajo Lake, Ice Caves and Cascade Falls that we absolutely loved.
In summary, enjoy the hikes and cool weather but bring your own food and entertainment.
We loved staying here, but there were some things that we wish we had/known. Overall would come back
We loved staying here, it was cute and a great location for what we were wanting to do at Duck Creek. However there were somethings that were a little annoying about our stay.
The code I was originally given didn’t work, and they said there was a lock box, but there wasn’t, there was only door code.
It was advertised that there was a washer and dryer available to us. When we arrived they said we could not use it due to the pipes freezing. No worries on not being able to use it, but we planned an activity where we would get muddy and that is when we were going to use the washer.
The beds were not made, we had to make them ourselves. Don’t we pay for a cleaning fee for this to be taken care of? This is something that I never thought I would have to while on vacation.
The internet never worked. Asked about it, and reset the router a few times but nothing worked. After asking about it, they said they were going to send someone to fix it, but no one ever came, so we didn’t have internet the whole time we were there. Also it was put in the bed room, and it was like a night light, I personally don’t like the extra light while sleeping.
We didn’t know where the dumpster was, wasn’t sure if there was one near by. So we took the trash into town to take care of it.
It would have been nice to have an instruction book as soon as we arrived. So for the little things we knew what was needed.
Again, would stay here, great place. Just need to fix a few things, & have some more info
