Welcome to *Kedra-on-the-Lake*, a spacious, family-run lake house where comfort meets adventure. With plenty of room to spread out, cozy charm, and lakefront fun, it’s the perfect retreat for vacations, weekend getaways, or special celebrations. And when you book a full week, the 7th night is always free.

**Warm, Welcoming, and Full of Fun**
Since 2004, Kedra has been a guest favorite thanks to its personal touches and thoughtful amenities. The open main level feels like a peaceful mountain lodge with a large fireside living room, dining space for 14, and a well-stocked kitchen made for cooking together. Step out to the wraparound porch for quiet mornings or rocking chair afternoons with a view.

The main-floor primary suite includes a private bath and porch access. Upstairs has two oversized family-friendly bedrooms and a shared bath, plus a workspace with a view. The terrace level features another bedroom, full bath, flex room, and a fun zone with air hockey, and movie space.

**Life at the Lake**
A gentle walk out back leads to a private dock on a quiet cove, ideal for swimming, paddling, and sunset views. There’s a fire pit, canoe, paddleboard, and ping pong in the garage. Lake Nottely is a quiet lake, and Blairsville offers shops, restaurants, and small-town charm—plus Blue Ridge and Hiawassee are just 20 minutes away. Lake Nottely is TVA controlled and lake levels always are lowered in the off-season.

Beautiful quiet cove

The house was perfect for our large family. It’s well stocked and all the beds were comfortable. There’s plenty of things to entertain the younger crowd and a nice wrap around porch with rockers and swings for those who prefer to relax. The house is close to downtown Blairsville and Butternut Creek golf course. Our guys enjoyed playing that course a couple of times during the stay. I’d definitely stay here again. Everyone was very nice to work with.

Amazing cabin!!!

I really enjoyed my stay here with my husband and friends and the property was very nice, and I loved how spacious the cabin was. The rules were really straight forward and fair, and I’d definitely stay here again!!!

Great Family Spring Break Getaway

Beautiful, large home with plenty of beds for our large family. Especially loved the huge dining table where we could all enjoy meals together. The ping pong and air hockey tables were a big hit for kids and adults. Kelly was extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful! Very relaxing and the house has everything you need and more!

Kedra was very roomy and clean! The back deck is the perfect place to relax and have coffee in the mornings. The dock was perfect! Great for swimming, boating, and floating around on a raft. Played golf at the Butternut Creek Golf Course that was just minutes away from Kedra. Will definitely stay there again!

Simply Wonderful!

We had a fantastic time with our kids and their friends. We fished and canoed on the lake, played games, watched movies, had ping pong tournaments, and had a blast cooking in the awesome kitchen that was large enough for a crowd! The location is close to grocery stores and “town” but out enough to relax. The coolest was the group of 5 deer grazing in someone’s yard we spotted when we first arrived! We recommend! :)

Very beautiful property with all of the amenities, especially the neighbor that let us use his golf cart to the dock. I will return to this home due to the spacious inside and outside. Very large backyard to have gatherings or play sports.

Beautiful place to stay

This property did not disappoint. The interior of the home was very clean, but the outside sitting areas could use a good washing. The waterfront access along with the private pier and fire pit were awesome. We caught and released fish off off of the pier, as well as went swimming, etc. This is an excellent family getaway. Many other things to do only a short drive away.

Wonderful Weekend with Friends

We rented this home for a long weekend with a group of friends and their families. The property was clean, spacious and well-equipped. We loved the table space--every year we get together to play boardgames, and the extra large kitchen table was perfect. It was a little too cold to take advantage of the kayak, but the kids loved exploring the backyard.

Everything was great we enjoyed ourselves. However it was very cold even after a repairman fixed the heating system. And the drive way is very steep However there is a cul-de-sac just down the road to turn around.

Great Annual Family Vacation

We vacation with our kids & grandkids every Labor Day for an extended weekend. The house was perfect for our big group of all ages. We had a blast even tho it rained pretty much the entire weekend. Thankfully we brought lots of games & had corn hole & ping pong tournaments all weekend! Kitchen was great for a large family. Big dining room table was perfect for our group. Plenty of room to spread out as well. We’ll probably rent this property again!

Return to Kedra

We stayed at this property last year and loved everything about it. Consequently, we had to return this year and it was just as wonderful. The lake is lovely, it sleeps our 12 people-6 adults and 6 under age 11 very comfortably (in fact it could easily sleep several more), and even the little things were provided for. We particularly loved having access to a canoe, paddle boards, and plenty of life jackets. We even rented the next door neighbor's pontoon boat for the day which was great fun for all. Highly, highly recommended!!

Great cabin for family gatherings.

Great cabin for family gatherings. We stayed at this property over the Christmas weekend and enjoyed the large spaces (living room, kitchen and downstairs rec room) for family activities. It was cold during our stay, so we enjoyed a fire around the outdoor firepit. The cabin has lots of bedrooms and provided ample sleeping space for the kids who all stayed in one of the larger bedrooms. The kitchen well equipped and was great for my wife who prepared meals and Christmas cookies. The host returned my texts immediately and was helpful when we had a minor WiFi issue. I would definitely stay at this cabin again.

We have 4 married children and 13 grand kids ages 1-23 who we love like crazy and with whom we share many wonderful times at Kedra through out the whole year. We would love for you to bring your crowd here too and please know that you will be treated like a treasured guest!

Why they chose this property

Lake Nottely in Blairsville has the perfect combination of charm, convenience, natural beauty and remoteness that makes our trips up there so enjoyable. There is lots to do but you don't have to fight a crowd of other vacationers to do it! The house is huge and is easy for more than one family to share, giving us each a little space to breath and plenty of room to share.

What makes this property unique

Each year we add to our list of things to do, taking expeditions to find new and interesting adventures. Of course, the lake is the biggest draw... fishing, canoeing, boating, swimming; it is all heaven on this lovely, peaceful lake. We also enjoy tubing and rafting down the rivers, golfing, hiking to waterfalls, shopping and eating out at our favorite restaurants. Probably our favorite outing is to Vogel State Park, a must-do on every trip. Mostly it is time spent together, making memories and getting refreshed from the peacefullness and beauty.
