The Space:

You'll be greeted by an impressive, spacious great room flooded with natural light from soaring windows met with a vaulted ceiling and exposed timbers. This newly updated home, along with fresh furnishings, was carefully curated to inspire comfort. The rich tones in the new floor contrast the white walls in the large adjacent bedrooms to strike a perfect balance.

This beautiful, mid-century home, which was designed and built by my grandparents, offers a fully equipped kitchen including coffee, creamer, bottled water and assorted soft drinks.

Upon entering the house there are seven steps to go down to the main floor. Everything is on the main floor of the house.

The washer and dryer are available for you to use. Parking is available on our paved driveway. Relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine or barbeque on the gas grill on the backyard patio.

The entire home is accessible to guests except the the garage and upstairs area which is unfurnished and never occupied. Upon entering the house there are seven steps to go down to the main floor.

My bestie and I planned a Galentine’s Reading Retreat weekend, but just before the trip, she broke her leg and is now… quite literally held together with hardware. We weren’t even sure she’d be able to make it, but Matt and Linda answered every logistical (and slightly awkward) question with patience, kindness, and humor. Thanks to them and her hard work with therapy, we made the trip!And wow… the place is incredible. If you forgot something, there’s a 99% chance it was already there. The kitchen was fully stocked, the couch was perfect for long reading sessions and elevating a healing leg, and the neighborhood was wonderfully quiet. One morning, we even woke up to chickens wandering through the backyard.We can’t recommend this stay enough. The hosts were thoughtful, welcoming, and incredibly responsive from start to finish. Books were read, meals and snacks were devoured, and memories were made! We'll be back! If in doubt, do NOT hesitate! Book it!

Terrific stay. Matt and Linda’s Artist A-Frame is better than advertised. Clean and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood short distance from Madison and Clifty Falls. Well stocked. Slept great on the King bed mattress. TV easy to figure out - cast streaming from phone. Loved the shady breezeway for some relaxing reading. Excellent. Perfect location for a brief overnight.

We were heading to Madison for the evening and I was lucky enough to find this listing open for the night we needed. Quiet Get-Away

This was our second visit to Madison and by far the best. The Artist's A-Frame was perfect, from the beautiful decorations, comfortable bed, and every amenity. We just wanted a quiet little get away from the day to day, and this was the answer. It is definitely on our "do again" list. So grateful for those who share their little paradises with others!

Fabulous A-Frame

The hosts were phenomenal!!! This experience far surpassed my expectations. The house had everything I needed. The pictures and the layout of the property were right on. Location is right in the middle of upper and lower Madison. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Don't let this A-Frame pass you bye.
