5bdr + Kids Game Room, Walk to Beach, Hot Tub!

Welcome to paradise! You are renting a great beach house in the Pleasure Point area of Santa Cruz, CA, the famous surfing and hanging-out beach. The house is a 5min walk to the beach. I purchased this house so visitors with kids (or just kids at heart) would have a fun relaxing time. The amenities include a large backyard (for the beach) with a game room (includes 42" TV, Ms. PAC-MAN / Galaga Arcade game, and a foosball table). On the back patio, we have an outdoor dining set, large stainless BBQ, ping-pong table, deck, and of course... a large HOT TUB! In the garage, the fun continues with surfboards (beginner and experienced riders), boogie boards, wetsuits, beach chairs, umbrella, kids beach toys, beach cruisers etc. All for your entertainment and entertaining.

The house has 5 bedrooms. (We have an 8 adult max)
1) The 'master' bedroom with a King Bed and private bathroom
2) The 'guest' bedroom with a Queen Bed
3) The 'kids' bedroom with a Twin over Full bunk bed
4) The 'breezeway' bedroom with a pull-out/pop-up trundle daybed (two twins)
5) The 'office' bedroom with a Queen Bed and desk

The house has full 2 bathrooms
1) The 'master' bathroom has two sinks, shower/tub, toilet, and skylight
2) The 'hallway' bathroom has a one sink, shower/tub and toilet

The kitchen is loaded with stainless steel appliances and fully stocked with cookware.

The house sits on a private road. No parking passes required. In addition, the house is on a cul-de-sac which leads to low traffic for a beach house. Safe for playing in the street.

The house is 1500 Sq Ft and a flat roof (which means lower than normal ceilings in the back 2 bedrooms) 7ft guests not recommended.

Our family had a great vacation here! Good communication with host .Very close to everything dog/kid park, beach, fun food options, & shopping. Quiet neighborhood.So much fun with old school video arcade game, ping pong, lots of board games, puzzles, reading material.Big bubbling clean hot tub, and fire pit. Plenty of comfortable beds for the whole family, all the amenities for cooking in the kitchen, bikes, beach chairs, boards, & towels.

Santa Cruz Spring Break

Our family met together from SoCal and Reno foe Spring break. We had a wonderful stay together at the Santa Cruz house. Great location, with walking dostance to beach, surf watching, shops and stores. Great communicatiom with host. We would gladly stay again.

Pleasant Point gem

We’ll equipped home, including surf boards and wet suits. Great location, close to the 38th St beach. Santa Cruz is a great town to explore, close to the Redwoods and many beaches.

Family Friendly Spot

This house was clean, well equipped, and in a great location! We walked to 41st to shop and eat. There are a lot of fun things to see and do within walking distance. I highly recommend this vacation rental!

We had a great time. The location is amazing. We rode the Beach Cruisers to the beach everyday. The surfing was good and it was so close to the house. We will be staying again in the near future.

Check in was simple. House was clean. Space was adequate. Hot tub was relaxing. Manager was responsive. Location was great. Would stay here again. Would be nice to have an electric griddle in the kitchen. Otherwise we had everything we needed for a wonderful time in SC.

This is an annual trip for a group of friends. The location is great and convenient. A bit short on the basics - towels, broom. Overall the house was cute and comfortable.

Great location!

This was a great place! It was an easy walk to the beach and downtown area. I’d highly recommend the donut shop 2 blocks away. We all had fun trying to beat each others score on the arcade game. It rained the whole time we were there and it was one of the most fun I e had on a family vacation.

Great Family Getaway

The house and grounds were perfect for a family getaway. The game room was used, as well as the outdoor spa. Even though the weekend was a bit rainy in January, the block and a half walk to the beach and bluff was amazing. We also walked down the hill to Capitola by the Sea. The home was easy to use for our multi-generational weekend!

Lots of room to relax or hang out in groups. Great location, near beach, dog park and great local shops, all within walking distance. Bedrooms have backyard access which helped early risers and late night relaxing by the fire. Heated outdoor shower was great when returning from the beach. Landlord very responsive. Would stay again.

Great location

This residence is in a great location. Walking distance from the ocean. An easy bike ride to Capitola. Great back yard. Though we only had a family of four the house has the capacity to easy hold a lot more. The only advice I have for the owner is there are some easy fixes to make the house appearance better. (Fix small holes in doors, and the toilet paper holder in both bathrooms.). But overall a great experience.

Family Getaway Success

The house was great for what we wanted. We wanted a beach friendly house that would accommodate a getaway for ourselves, our grown kids and grandchildren with family friendly amenities. The house did not dissappoint. Plenty of room, lots of games, a great backyard - walking distance to Pleasure Point and a playground around the corner that our grandkids loved. Quiet neighborhood. Overall the house was exactly as described and we had no issues during our stay.

Great house in nice neighborhood, very central to most things. We were able to walk to dinner locations. Very clean, comfortable EVERYTHING works. Nice hot tub, neat back yard with fire pit. Process was super easy. Definitely good value for money. Strongly recommend
