We stayed in Maria's home twice in about a week. It was super-clean and we had everything we needed for our visits. Maria responds unbelievably quickly and was even nice enough to let us in early when our plans unexpectedly changed. She really tries hard to make guests feel welcome.

Great location for shopping

My friend and I had a girls weekend and enjoyed how close it was to shopping and restaurants. The beds really are comfy and the house is cute! The bathroom could have been cleaner but nothing we couldn’t look past. The owners were on the property the whole time in a camper in the driveway which made us feel a little uneasy the first night but they were very nice and respectful! The listing said there was a hot tub but there isn’t one. Overall we enjoyed the house and the comfy beds!

Nice place. Location isn’t so good. We had no communication the day off until I started asking for check in info. We didn’t like that the house had 2 locked doors one a closet and the other one probably another bedroom. While it was very well stocked it was cluttered in the washer area and the boiler area. None of the rooms had a fire alarm on both batteries were taken out or not even there. A big negative was the faucet handle in the shower it was so loose that the temperature was either hot or cold. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner. The bedrooms curtain rod had a knife in it to close curtain. Needs some improvements.We appreciated the provided toiletries”

In response to the check in info, we do NOT give instructions until the day OF check in. That is because we provide our guests with different numerical passcode for our guests safety. Also in regards of the location. Guests shouldn’t judge a property just because of the area as no one isn’t responsible for the neighborhood itself. In regards of the shower, we ALWAYS let our guest know if any concerns during their stay, they can ALWAYS contact the host because the unexpected can always happen. Guests should be honest and contact the host rather then complaining & damaging an item. it’s a crucial world we live in where guests can’t own up to their own actions. You as a guest should have alerted me, the host. As soon as possible so we could have resolved it quickly. Apologies for the confusion on the fire alarms. Those fire alarms are WIRED. Also monitored 24/7 and do NOT require batteries. We have an active fire alarm system that is monitored by Vivint. Vivint always alert us if anything happens with the fire alarm which includes tampering with our system, setting it off and has a Carbon monoxide sensor attached. As mentioned, our guests should always concern us first before resolving with complaints and damaging items. We highly appreciate your review and apologize for not meeting your standards as a guest. We loved the cabin, however, there were several things that needed attention. The master bedroom shower handle was broken so we had to use pliers to turn it on. It was hard to get the temperature right doing this. Also, the water pressure in that shower was terrible!The windows int he master bedroom would not open! Since there is no air conditioning, we wanted to open them!The lights in the kitchen were way too dim. We felt like we needed to "turn on the lights" when they were all on!There in no TV in the second bedroom. There needs to be one in there if you are going to have them in the other bedrooms!The grill was not clean when we went to use it, so we had to clean it before we could use it.The oven was challenging to use. We couldn't get the oven to light sometimes and the burners were also difficult to get to stay lit.The washer stunk like it had soured! We bought some washer cleaner and ran it through the wash cycle twice, but it still stunk pretty bad!The deck, hot tub, and fire pit were great! We used them multiple times while we were there!We would stay at this cabin again, but it would be nice if you could fix all of the above mentioned items!
