Horrible, had no place to stay because host never communicated

Do yourself a favor & do NOT reserve this property. Had it booked months in advance for the livestock show. About a week before our stay I had received no communication from the host & reached out to get the address. They never replied & I sent another message a few days later asking them to please give us the address. Still no response so I reached out again the day before check in & did not receive any communication from them. I called VRBO & was told I had to wait until check in time before we could do anything. So at 3pm on the day of check in we were on the phone with VRBO again because we still had not received any communication from the host. We were all tired from traveling, animals on a trailer in line for check in at the livestock show and no place for our family to stay. Thankfully I was able to locate another property that was available, but it was a huge inconvenience. I had to pay for the new property in full and am still waiting for a refund from VRBO on this property that we had paid for in full but never stayed in because the host never gave us a location, check in instructions or any type of communication.
