The host was very responsive when we messaged her. The location to GNP was great. Also liked that it was close to Columbia Falls which was great for going to the grocery store, fishing license and restaurant choices

We spent 2 nights in this lovely cozy cabin! It was such a nice place to return to after lots of driving. The bed was very comfy and we slept very well. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. It was only 20 minutes from the west entrance of Glacier.
Close to Glacier NP West entrance, grocery store. Cute cabin. All the necessities provided. Comfortable bed. Nice little yard with chairs to relax in outside. Only negative is that it smells musty. Host very prompt to respond. Overall a good value.

The inside was as shown in the advertised photos and the outside also looked like the photo. But the area, or neighborhood, was pretty sketchy. Did not make you feel comfortable? Inside the air conditioning worked, but it was very noisy. The good was you are just 10 minutes outside the park and Lacota responded every time we had a question.

The gardens and sitting area were wonderful. Every morning we were greeted by Ruger who wanted to play fetch. Well appointed and comfortable accommodations.
The location was great! So close to West Entrance, we often went to Glacier twice a day (early am and after 3pm.) The cabin was comfortable retreat after long days of hiking, horseback riding and rafting. Most evenings we cooked our dinner and sat outside by the firepit with a bottle of wine. Very relaxing view of the mountains nearby. Highly recommend!
The Fox Hollow is a nice, quiet place with an outdoor area in Hungry Horse, a small town with a nice local feel and amenities. Lacota was quick to respond to inquiries and offered suggestions on local eateries, shopping, etc. There's also lots of info at the house. An easy 20 minute or so drive to West Glacier, Columbia Falls, and Whitefish. Ideally located to explore the area.
The proximity to GNP is the best selling feature. You won’t look out any of the window and see anything of interest. The doorways are very low. My husband is 6’2” and hit his head the first night. His mantra for the rest of the visit was “stay low, stay low, stay low”. There is only one tv in the bedroom- we weren’t there to watch tv but our habit is to flip in on when we get up, wind down etc. One in the main room would have been nice. As mentioned in other reviews, there are no doors on the bedroom or bathroom. It is not a long drive for groceries or restaurants. If you are looking for a place just to sleep, then this is fine. I would choose something a little bigger (and with more amenities) if I had to do it over again.
We had a good stay at Fox Hollow. It is in a great location close to West Glacier. There are several restaurants in town, and the grocery store was reasonably priced. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The fresh bread and huckleberry taffy were nice touches. It was a good bargain.
This cottage was perfect for our needs. We went hiking at GNP for four days. Had a delicious loaf of freshly baked sour dough bread that was provided for us. Would definitely recommend if you needed a place to stay in the park area. Great communication. The place was spotless when we arrived.
We had a great stay at Fox Hollow. Everything was as advertised and exceeded our expectations. The location at Hungry Horse is exactly what you need to see Glacier National park. Within minutes you are at West Glacier. The town has so many things to discover as well. Highly recommend to stop by the fresh mountain water historical sight and top off all your hydration needs. We were welcomed as soon as we got there with the details on how to arrive in advance. All that is needed to have a home away from home is there so you can focus on your park experience. We didn't know about the reservation process at the park but it was no problem. The welcome book at the property covers it. We got to see everything there we wanted to discover. Columbia Falls is just minutes away with all the grocery and supply needs. Towards the end of the trip we spent time along the east side of the park and were surprised how different and less accommodating it is. We have been telling everyone since we returned home that this is the place to stay if you ever want to put Glacier on your list of the beautiful places our amazing Country has to offer. Thank you so much for such an amazing time.
Quiet little cabin not too far from a lot of places. Carolyn's is down the road and great for breakfast. Cabin was clean, cozy, and exactly what I needed.

The property was comfortable and close to Glacier National Park. We liked having a heater/air conditioning unit in the bedroom. We appreciated finding bear spray in the bathroom cabinet, since we couldn't bring any with us or take any home as we flew to the area. We would rent this property again.
Overall, this cabin was just as promised. It was a very clean, adequate space for two people, with a full kitchen and nice cookware. However, non-smokers may want to know that the cabin had a distinct cigarette smell, especially in the bedroom. This wouldn't be a problem for everyone, but we needed to keep the windows open.
Great location for Glacier National Park. To visit the East side, it would be easier to book a place out there, but visiting the whole park is still doable from this location if you are prepared for the 1 hr 45 min drive via GTSR. It's actually a bit longer using Hwy 2. Comfortable bed and bedding. A full shower. Plenty of shelf space for toiletries. All the basics were there for cooking. We kept the front door closed due to the fact the screen door has an opening at the bottom and did not close flush with the door frame, but still got good air flow with the windows open.
It was a wonderful landing spot after a long day at the park. It’s a short drive from glacier, so perfect location for our trip. The cabin is very comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches! Loved the fresh bread, taffies and coffee station, plus the couch and good WiFi was much appreciated! Overall lovely and would recommend.
The house was easily accessible, located near Glacier National Park. Everything was clean and a few needed items were provided! Thanks for the stay, we would stay there again!
