Go Back In Time To The Real Hawaii And The Ultimate Getaway.

Stunning ocean views surround you in this romantic beachfront cottage. Perfect for couples and small families. Sunrises and moonrises will amaze you. The sound of gentle waves breaking on a distant reef will lull you to sleep at night. This cottage has a spacious feeling, and features a remodeled galley-style kitchen and bath. The kitchen is fully equipped, and includes a shared washer/dryer, SMART TV, beach chairs, and one assigned parking stall. Price includes all taxes, resort fees, Wifi and parking.

Swimming, relaxing, BBQs, and walking on the beach and are my favorite things to do here; but there are great tourist attractions nearby to enjoy too. The Polynesian Cultural Center is 5 miles north, the Turtle Bay Resort is 10 miles north, followed by 7 miles of the world's most famous surfing beaches and the historic surfing town of Haleiwa. Pack lightly, all you'll need are a few clothes, your favorite food items and you won't want to leave once you get here! (Each cottage is a 4-plex building and this listing features an upstairs unit with plenty of breezes and more privacy than the downstairs units.)

City life in Honolulu can be hectic, so I retreat to this cottage in the country for fun and relaxation. I live and work in Honolulu, but originally came from California, then lived on Kauai and Maui, before finally moving to Oahu. I love island living, and when traveling, I like to visit other islands. I'm a teacher, like to travel during vacations, and would be willing to trade time in my vacation cottage, in exchange for time in your vacation home, depending on the destination.

Why they chose this property

I've been coming to this beachfront location for 20+ years, and stay here often to relax and enjoy the beach. I fell in love with these cottages the moment I saw them because they are only 45 minutes from Honolulu; in a quiet, tropical setting and on a wonderful, safe beach for children. Since then, this place has become my 'secret getaway' with its semi-secluded location, white sandy beach, and warm tropical waters. Many wedding proposals, and small intimate wedding take place at this location. The homeowners and guests are friendly and many homeowners have owned their apartments for many happy years. The location is truly a secret spot, and you'll feel like time stops when you're here.

If you want to experience a stress-free island lifestyle--this is the place. If you've always dreamed of living on your own beach--this is the place.
