This place was perfect for our trip to the Redwoods. It had everything we needed. The elk were across the street and we heard them bugle. There was a coffee truck across the street for a great morning brew.
This property was a bit expensive, but ideal for us on a trip from Capetown, CA to Coos Bay, OR because it allowed us to explore Eureka and Trinidad, and have dinner in Trinidad with an easy drive there. We have a Tesla, and the charging station at the property was a major convenience and the reason we picked the property. It was easy to use. The only downside other than cost was that we were required to empty the trash and the garbage can was very full and hard to find.
The unit is nestled in a beautiful valley in the middle of Redwood NP, though it is a few feet from highway 101. It's comfortable with a reasonably well stocked kitchen. We found out that the mini split heat pump was broken when we woke up cold overnight. The rental company knew it was broken but didn't bother to tell us to use the backup heaters. We went to grill dinner and the propane tank was completely empty. The rental company gave me the code to the shed on the side of the place and fortunately there was a spare there. Overall, a decent place, but at this price point the rental company should maintain the place better.
