Nice space that clean and comfortable. Location is quiet and convenient between the harbor and Butchart gardens. Is a bus stop nearby, and there is also parking. If you have mobility issues, should know that there are stairs to enter and leave.

The place was perfect for travelling with little kids. It was clean and there was plenty of space for the kids to hang out. We had mentioned we are travelling with a baby and they were kind enough to setup a crib. It was easy to communicate with them and they were accommodating of requests.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
Jolene and her family are gracious and extremely helpful hosts with an absolutely beautiful home. All the amenities you could want with a cool coffee shop just down the street. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a rental.
We loved staying in the beautiful upstairs of this modern home in a quiet residential area with a coffee shop on the corner. Wonderful location with a park and playground down the street as well as several nearby beaches, trails, grocery stores, etc. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and the coffee machine, coffee and cream were much appreciated. Also enjoyed sitting on the private back deck and having a washer and dryer available to use. One suggestion might be to have some pantry items available such as ketchup and olive oil. The hosts were especially nice and communicative, wanting to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this lovely VRBO.

Thank you Elizabeth!
We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless and had all the amenities we could ask for. From a fully equipped kitchen to a cozy living room, everything was perfect. The rooms were nice and comfortable, and the bathrooms were pristine. Our host was incredibly thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.
This is a lovely, very modern property. Beds and linens were ultra comfortable, and there was a full range of amenities, including tea and coffee.Radiant heat flooring in the ensuite was a real treat!
Great location, close to lovely beaches and parks. Easy access, neighborhood coffee shop was excellent. Very satisfied with our stay.
Wonderful property with a well appointed kitchen with all the needed supplies, except a spatula(!?). :) It is near the University of Victoria in a quiet neighborhood an even got to see a deer walking about. Nice little coffee place down the street as a bonus but the Keurig with supplied pods sufficed us throughout our stay. Clean and well supplied bathrooms and bedrooms. Again, an awesome full kitchen to cook whatever ypu desire. Will certainly consider staying again when we return, which we will!

Thank you so much John!
Lovely modern home in Gordon Head area of Greater Victoria. The place was beautifully decorated with lovely seating areas both inside and outside as well as great bedding and a fully equipped kitchen. It was very spacious for our family of five including parking and an area outside where we could store our bikes. There were also great bike trails nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Jolene!

We loved staying at this property. The host was very helpful and friendly. The location is in a nice neighborhood and the house is very clean and comfortable. Jolene made sure we had everything we needed. She even loaned us some olive oil we had forgotten and let us pick herbs from their garden! The patio is a lovely place to sit and relax. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Victoria. Peaceful and comfortable.

Thank you so much Eric for the wonderful review! I'm thrilled to hear that you had such an enjoyable stay at my Victoria property. It was a pleasure hosting you, and I'm glad I was able to make your visit comfortable and relaxing.
I really appreciate the kind words about the house, location, and amenities. Providing a peaceful and clean environment for my guests is a top priority. I'm glad the patio was a nice spot for you to unwind, and that the small gestures like the olive oil and garden herbs were helpful.
Your feedback means a lot, and I'm so pleased you would consider staying with me again on a future trip to Victoria. Building positive relationships with guests is very important to me.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. I look forward to welcoming you back in the future! Thank you!
We throughly enjoyed our stay. House was updated and had everything we needed. Easy check in and no cleaning requirements on check out which was a huge bonus. Great communication from host. Would definitely stay again. Only thing I didn’t see in ad was there are people living in basement. Didn’t affect our stay at all.
The house was renovated and spotless. The bathrooms and kitchen were super nice. Heated floor was a bonus. The bed and the linen were very comfortable. The property is close to UVIc and Mount Doug. Owner was very responsive and helpful. It would have been nice to mention the owner lives downstairs in the listing. I thought we had the whole house to ourselves.
We had a great stay at your home in Gordon Head! The location was super since it was a short walk to the beach, play parks and coffee shops. If you had a student going to University of Victoria and were dropping them off at the beginning of the year this would be an ideal location. As well, a quick 10 minute drive to downtown to view the sights of the inner harbor or restaurants. Easy communication between renters and host. Washer and dryer at the home which is very nice. Bbq in the back off the deck which was great to use. Lots of parking space on the driveway or the street. I would highly recommend this location and would definitely look into staying here again when we return.
The house is beautiful and modern. Everything is brand-new and high-quality. The owner met us and communicated throughout the stay. The house is fully-stocked and ready for cooking and entertaining. Very comfortable beds and furniture. It has a lovely patio with furniture to catch the beautiful sunset. I highly recommend the corner coffee shop that is a one minute walk away. The location of the house is ideal as it is only a short drive away from downtown Victoria and a one mile walk to the beach or forest trails. This is in a quiet residential neighborhood, but bike/hiking trails are at your doorstep along with bus stops on the corner. Parks are everywhere and this house makes a great home base to explore the area from. We greatly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this house.
My friends and I stayed at this property for a wedding weekend, expecting a peaceful and private getaway. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we anticipated. The host was overly present and made us feel uncomfortable from the moment we arrived.
She knocked on our door a few hours after check-in, which we found unnecessary, and later that night, she returned around 10:50 PM, claiming we were being too loud despite only talking and laughing among ourselves. The following day, she and her husband were in the front and back yards, which made us hesitant to spend any time outside, as we felt we were being watched. She even messaged us, telling us to turn off the lights.
The situation escalated when the host confronted us aggressively at our door after we raised our concerns with VRBO. This behavior was alarming and completely out of line. The situation became so concerning that VRBO relocated us to a hotel for the final night of our stay.
We chose this property based on VRBO’s promise of a private and comfortable stay, but that was not our experience here. I would not recommend this property to others who are looking for a peaceful and private stay.

Dear Alisha,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I want to express my sincere apologies that your experience did not meet your expectations. My intention as a host is always to provide a welcoming and enjoyable environment for my guests.
I would like to address some of the concerns you raised:
1. **Communication:** My intent in reaching out shortly after your check-in was to ensure everything was to your liking and to offer assistance if needed. I understand that this may have felt intrusive, and I apologize for any discomfort caused.
2. **Noise Concerns:** I appreciate that laughter and conversation are part of gatherings. However, I was concerned about the noise level late at night, as it can disturb the neighborhood. My approach was meant to maintain a peaceful environment for everyone.
3. **Presence in the Yard:** I occasionally work in the yard, but I did not mean to make you feel uncomfortable. My goal is to keep the property well-maintained and inviting for all guests.
4. **Incident with VRBO:** I regret that our conversation became confrontational. It was never my intention to escalate the situation, and I sincerely apologize for any distress it caused.
5.** Lights Concern.** I would like to clarify the point about the message regarding the lights. left a note at the entrance reminding guests to turn off the outdoor lights before bedtime. This was to respect the neighbors, as they expressed concerns that the lights were directly facing their bedrooms and affecting their rest. I apologize if this was perceived as intrusive.
My intention was to maintain a peaceful environment for everyone. I appreciate your understanding, and I'm always open to feedback to improve future stays.
6.** Party drinking loud music concerns during the late hours.**
I noticed there was quite a bit of noise and loud music during your stay, which made it a bit challenging, especially during the late hours. Additionally, I heard some guests yelling, which is something we need to manage due to our house rules.
I truly want to ensure that everyone enjoys their time here and adhering to the house guidelines moving forward.
I take guest feedback seriously and will work to improve communication moving forward. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Best regards,
Jolene
