Bedrooms only sleep 4. Offstreet parking for up to 2 medium size vehicles, tandem
located close to galloping Goose walking/biking trail. Superb kayaking on Portage inlet which connects with the Gorge waterway and leads to the Inner Harbour and open ocean. Enjoy the sunset while sipping wine in your zerogravity chair. We are just minutes away from downtown Victoria. Pets welcome with strict rules for owner care. Owner lives in private basement suite accessed by a sideyard pathway by the dining area. Owner is very careful to maintain your privacy

Super welcoming hosts and had the house prepared with everything you could think of needing for your stay!Easy check in and out instructions and guided within the house for everything. Even though it’s near the road you can’t hear it and it’s a very peaceful place to stay.

This was a perfect place to stay as a home base for a family visit and access to various areas in and around Victoria. Caroline was so kind and responsive. The view is incredible. We couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend.

One of the best VRBO rentals we have stayed in. The house, yard and views are beautiful. The house is spotlessly clean, spacious and very well stocked with everything you need- truly feels like a home away from home. The host is very friendly and responsive and always available for questions and to help. Much appreciated Caroline.

Beautiful views!! Noisy with #1 hwy behind and construction!!One picture on line isn’t accurate as shows a build in oven and microwave which there wasn’t !Especially staying for a one stay there was only a two burner hot plate and a small toaster oven/ air fryer! We weren’t told until a week before we arrived by owner whom we’d weren’t told lives down below in a suite in the house plus her daughter lives in a suite in garage! We should have been told in the VRBO listing as no private!Even we didn’t use the hot tub as it’s right by the walkway to owners suite and they walk by it!We would have cancelled from the get go if we knew all of the false advertising on it!Owner was nice though!!Home was full of stuff like they just moved out very cluttered!! Sorry but we have travelled to and stayed in many VRBO’s but first time we’ve seen this as I felt we weren’t told the truth! Was disappointed but mad due!It’s great for a few days stay if visiting Victoria and area!

Probably the most beautiful rental we've ever stayed in, and the most accommodating host, as well. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. The structure itself is stunning, and the decor is absolutely charming. The location is near Victoria proper without feeling "big city."

Beautiful home in lovely setting. We felt like we were staying in a good friends home, unlike the sterile minimalist settings you get in some vacation rentals. The master suite is spectacular and perfect for lounging with a spacious deck. The kitchen was very well equipped and the induction hot plate and airfryer/toaster oven were fine for our needs. Caroline provided us with more treats than we could enjoy and was a wonderful host. We didn't get to use the hot tub but it was at perfect temperature and ready to go. We also appreciated that we could bring our two small dogs along. We hope to return in summer months next year to see the amazing garden in full bloom.

Spacious well furnished with a gorgeous view we wished we could have stayed longer than 3 nights. The peace and quiet of the location belie the fact that the main centre of the city of Victoria was a very short drive away. Close to supermarkets, top attractions like Buchart Gardens and many restaurants the house was like home with a well stocked kitchen, fluffy bathrobes and towels and the A frame gave beautiful views of Portage Inlet. Caroline’s well tended garden framed every picture! A truly unique and outstanding property!

Beautiful Home!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The views from both levels of the Gorge are amazing. The home was very clean and well looked after, very spacious and there is lots of natural light due to the large windows at the back of the house on both levels. Nice back yard.

We loved our stay. There was a brief problem with the plumbing but the owner had it addressed by the next morning. Absolutely lovely location. Would definitely recommend.

We rented Caroline's property to host our family Christmas celebration. The space was perfect for it! Caroline had decorated for Christmas with a lovely tree and even left some holiday baking for us.

The views from this property are exceptional. The property itself is huge and resourced with everything you could possibly need. Really enjoyed our stay here. Caroline is an excellent host and you can tell she cares about her guests. The place was very well equipped. Beautiful views. Should note there is a bit of noise from the nearby highway when outside, but really did not bother us. Very happy overall with the stay!

This home is even better in person than the pictures can display. Wonderful view and a nice energy inside the house. A very relaxing place to rest and enjoy peace and quiet.

We bought this property for the view and waterfront. It was an old renovated cottage with minimal garden. We have transformed it into a delightful garden with an amazing new home designed and built by my son Trevor. You will find the setting peaceful and relaxing with access to all amenities within minutes. We welcome pets with sleeping kennels and responsible owners.

What makes this property unique

Close to all amenities but feels separate from the main stream city because of the amazing waterfront views of Portage Inlet and inviting garden
