About this property

Duplex on the island of Sunset Beach! Perfect for multifamily!

Welcome to Beach Access! The perfect beach abode for the whole family, multiple families or extended families that need street level access. An easy walk to the public beach walkway (just 10 houses down) and located on the west side of the island, just 5 streets from Bird Island. Relaxed and charming, this duplex has a two bedroom studio downstairs with a large central living space, full kitchen, dining, full bath and powder room. Upstairs has a large open living area with dining, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is a shared laundry room downstairs and an outdoor shower! Multiple porches provide space to spread out with a covered downstairs front porch, covered upstairs screen porch and then a large back deck! The downstairs deck has a place to hang wet towels and suits!

We have a local host and property manager who provides linens, towels and gets you started with paper supplies, soaps, shampoos and the like. Check in at 4pm is easy with electronic door codes on both floors. Come enjoy a few days or a week at our favorite place!!

Dogs are allowed Labor Day through Memorial Day. All pets must be leashed and please pick up their poop! Thank you!

Our family lives in Western North Carolina and has been visiting Sunset Beach since 2012. When we had an opportunity to own on the island, we took it! Thankfully, we have wonderful hosts on the island (Janet and Mark) who help us manage the day to day processes but I am usually behind the keyboard answering questions! Why they chose this property

We love Bird Island and have been fortunate to see sea turtles hatch 3 times now! We love the quiet, serene beach and walking or biking all the way to SC during a sunset is the best!

Our house is a duplex! The downstairs is perfect for anyone with mobility issues and ease of access with no stairs! The upstairs has a few more sleeping spaces and lots of room to spread out and enjoy!
