Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home in the heart of bluebonnet country. Along the Texas Independence Trail, The Flying V has lots of space to unwind and enjoy the quiet country life. Minutes from Washington on the Brazos State Historic Site, The Flying V is centrally located between Brenham, Chappell Hill, and Navasota. It also makes a great base for exploring Round Top during Antiques Week or College Station game days. We'd love to have you stay with us!

The house and location to Washington on the Brazos was great! We got to witness deer in the back pasture. You might consider putting in some handicapped bars in the showers. We will certainly stay at the Flying V when we are in the area again. Sue was a great host.

We enjoyed the full kitchen, fire pit area, and additional family games. The three rooms were nice, clean and organized, and the bathrooms were spacious. We liked the additional amenities of granola bars, coffee pods, and full size body wash, shampoo and conditioner to use. Check in and out was clear, low house rules, and no hidden fees. It was very much a pleasure to spend time with family at this B&B.

Simple rules: Don't rearrange furniture, put trash in outside bin, & lock-up when leaving. Not bombarded with "do this," "don't do that" signs. No hidden fees. No surprises. Self check-in & check-out. Lots of room. Very comfortable. Good shower. Very reasonable price. Pretty rural farming area. This was our best experience with a short-term rental.

Couldn’t have asked for more!

My nephew was getting married at The Gin at Hidalgo Falls and we were looking for a place that would be close to the venue. This home was just 10 minutes away and was absolutely amazing. Sue, the owner was SO easy to work with and helped us with anything we needed. The home was very spacious and clean. There were 6 of us staying there and we had plenty of room. The view was unbelievable and the home was just very peaceful. We also found time to go to the lavender farm (just 10 min away) and the Washington on the Brazos state park which was just a mile away. Both of these were a lot of fun too. So, if you are going to be in the Washington, Navasota, or Brenham area, you need to stay at the Flying V ranch. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
