We stayed here for a relaxing long weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday. With children ages one through eight, we had an amazing stay. The kids fished off the dock, we utilized the fire pit, grilled out, used the hot tub and rented a boat to stay at the dock for our entire stay. The bedrooms were perfect, kitchen was well stocked and the game room in the garage right off the kitchen was great. If you plan to rent a boat, taking it to restaurants was easy. We would stay here again and have already recommended it to friends!

Wonderful Lake house getaway

We enjoyed this beautiful home! It was the perfect size for our family. It is a lovely setting. Host thought of many helpful touches to make our stay special! We would definitely love to rent here again if we return to the area.

Great Spot

The place is beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had a great time. Close to anything you would like to see and go to. Big enough for alone time if needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Great for families and groups!

We had a group of 8, all adults. The house was very clean and exactly as it was on-line. It was stocked with plenty of dishes, linens, pillows and blankets. Additional nice touch of firewood for the firepit ready to go! We had plenty of space and room to spare. Our host was considerate and very responsive. 10/10 would recommend and we are already planning our return!

Perfect Lake Norman Vacation Stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house nestled in a private cul de sac on Lake Norman. Our host was welcoming and attentive. We made use of the boat dock, kayaks, spa tub, game room (ping pong, arcade games), well-stocked kitchen, outside grill, screened porch and large living areas. The only thing we didn't use was the fire pit but we would have if we stayed longer! The photos in the listing are accurate. Thank you!!

Excellent Thanksgiving trip

This was our first time to stay at Lake Norman and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The house is very comfortable and clean. The views are lovely and beds are comfy! We enjoyed a hike around Lake Norman State Park. We then came home to a Polar Plunge and finished off in the hot tub! The fire pit (s'mores supplies provided by host!) was great fun. The host went above and beyond for us - after we told him there were no casserole dishes for Thanksgiving cooking, he immediately purchased some and brought them to us! We expressed concern about the size of the dining table and he found a leaf and chairs for us. HIGHLY recommend this place!

We had a great time on a multi generation family vacation! Would definitely rent here again. The house was really well fitted out. Everything you could need in the kitchen (we like to cook, so this was really nice for us!). We appreciated the little touches like the welcome basket, hair dryers and cozy blankets. We weren't expecting firewood for the fire pit, either. The hosts were easy to contact and quick to respond when we discovered the life jacket storage box was gone. You know how sometimes when you rent and they provide linens and the house sleeps 12, so you get exactly 12 bath towels? Not the case here! Plenty of extra towels. Oh, and definitely check out Daveste Vineyards!
