Located on the beautiful Isla Mujeres in MX, The Soggy Peso is unique and full of character. Our Bed & Cocktail is just a short distance from El Centro (the island's business district). We are also convenient to the white sands of North Beach and the numerous bars and restaurants on Hidalgo Street. But there is no need to leave the property, you can enjoy a meal and a cold cerveza, glass of wine, Margarita, Pain Killer,..... at the Soggy Peso Palapa Bar.
On the ground floor of our property is the Soggy Peso Palapa Bar. This is a destination bar where tourists and colorful characters of the Island alike take pride in swapping their Caribbean experiences-----some true....some not so true. The waterfront view allows our guests to check out the fishermen leaving in the mornings and returning with their catches at sunset. You can enjoy the spectacular sunsets from our beach, dock, bar, or your private balcony. Our laid back style at The Soggy Peso personifies that famous line in one of Jimmy Buffett's songs..."Keep it simple , Stupid".So..... Bienvenidos!!!!
In keeping with our Bed & Cocktail theme ( when the bar is open ), each room guest will be entitled daily to a free Bloody Mary in the morning and a free Margarita in the afternoon!
