Welcome to the Serene Scene. Located in the desirable Moonridge area. Under a mile to Bear Mountain Ski. A great updated but cabin feel home. Ev charger and pet friendly. A perfect get away for the whole family!

The Home- 1,140 square feet of serene mountain cabin located in a quiet are of Moonridge. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Beautiful outdoor spaces. All spaces with waterproof wood style flooring. This home is one level; however stairs are unavoidable to reach the home.

Bedroom 1-Queen sized bed, closet, and dresser.

Bedroom 2- Queen sized bed with twin/twin bunk bed. Built in closet/dresser, ceiling fan, direct access to back patio.

We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton rounds, q tips, and floss picks. We do provide limited hand towels and wash cloths. 5 bath and spa towels are provided. (Not for lake use, please bring extra for lake.)

Bathroom 1- Jack and Jill style with access to back deck. Shower with single vanity. Stacked washer and dryer.

Bathroom 2- Shower/tub combo single vanity.

Kitchen- Galley style kitchen with visibility into dining and living area. Full-sized stainless-steel fridge, gas stove, and dishwasher to help you create wonderful meals. If you prefer take-out no worries! Fully stocked with all utensils, dishware, and cookware. A starter pack of paper towels, and trash bags are provided. Along with dish soap, coffee grounds, and sugar.

Coffee set up-Keurig. Starter pack of pods are provided.

Dining- Located in view of kitchen, bench seating with chairs. Additional seating at bar top. Door to outside of the home.

Living room- Large sofa, 2 arm chairs, wood burning fireplace, limited games, 60’ smart tv to stream your favorite apps.

Fireplace- Natural wood burning fireplace. We do not provide wood. It can be purchased upon check in or any local store.

Laundry area- Full sized stacked HE washer and dryer located in bathroom 1.

Back deck- Access through bedroom 1 or bathroom 1. Views of the mountain forest, seasonal stream, string lights, 6 person spa, propane grill, table. We fill the propane tanks once a week. If it needs to be swapped during your stay, please send a copy of the itemized receipt for reimbursement.

Parking- Flat asphalt parking for max 2 vehicles. You may need AWD of 4x4 in winter months due to being in the Moonridge area of town.

Ev- Charger available for no extra charge. We do not provide any type of cords, or adaptors.

Pets- We allow 2 dogs. This property is not fenced. Please do not let your pets poop/pee on the deck. We do not charge an upfront fee. We will charge for damage, excessive shedding, or not picking up after your animal. No other type of animals or number of animals are allowed regardless of ESA or Service animal status. All animals MUST be disclosed upon booking.

Please make sure to read the additional rules section. We believe in setting proper expectations. Many of these rules are set by the city and enforced by their code enforcement. We are required to follow these rules as a part of our permit.

You have access to the entire home. One closet is locked for our supplies. You're not missing much!

Per city regulations the person who books the home will need to check in, in person to verify identity. After checking into the office, we will leave you to enjoy Big Bear, unless any issues arise. We are almost always available to contact. Please use the messaging option. These messages get sent to our whole team and is the fastest way to get a hold of us.

Popular/notable locations and distances from the home in miles. Keep in mind on average our traffic is not nearly as busy. Most places on a normal day with good weather take 5-15 minutes to get to.

We do have Mountain Transit. However most places will require your own vehicle for ease of travel.

Reminder- This is the mountains. We do our best to control what we can. We spray and leave bait for pests, do our best to prevent rodents, and remove weeds throughout the year. Most of our homes do have sap producing trees.

City of Big Bear Lake Good Neighbor Policy must be respected at all times. Please review the city rules.

Do not exceed the occupancy limit (5 guests this includes children and infants)
Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult occupants may
be less than the total maximum occupancy.

NO PARTIES ALLOWED.

No parking in street or yard
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated
parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The
maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior
sign.(2 vehicles allowed)

No amplified music 24/7
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the
property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music
carrying beyond the property line.

Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from
10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Take your furry friend with you. (This home allows 2 dogs, must be disclosed)
Take your dog with you so they do not disturb
surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake
is very dog-friendly!

Take trash to dumpster locations
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear
locations:
4190 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd.
Consequences

Unfortunately, a few of our guests refuse to
extend common courtesy and neighborly
behavior toward the guests and residents
around them. For those guests who have come
to party and disrupt the peace and tranquility
of the neighborhoods, there are costly and
severe consequences.

Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated
previously is $500 per violation. A second
offense is $1000 per violation.

Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules
and expectations will be evicted without a
refund. In addition, costly citations may be
issued to the reservation holder.

License VRR-2023-1401
Occupancy (5 including children & infants) and car limit (2) are set by the city. They will enforce these. If found to have more than we are licensed for, you may be fined and evicted with no refund. Please adhere to these limitations.

Upon Check Out

Wash dishes (load washer and START)
Pick up yard of trash, cigarette butts, lids ect
Pick up and dispose of any pet landmines
Leave used beds unmade
All used towels can be piled in bathroom (all linens are cleaned off site)
Close any open windows & doors.
Turn off lights
Lock up
Do not turn off heater in winter months
All trash must be taken to local trash dump site per city ordinances

Keypad code- City of Big Bear Lake requires their Good Neighbor Policy to be signed prior to gaining access to the home. The person booking the home MUST sign, no exceptions. Declining to sign will result in no access to the home, & cancellation of reservation with no refund. GNP can be found in our listing along with the break down of our agreement. Agreement is sent in a link for virtual signature in welcome message.

Code will be sent day of check in. Once the home is ready or at 4pm, whichever is first.

Cleaning Fee- nonnegotiable. This covers clean linens, cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, floors, basic balancing of spa chemicals, and basic cleaning of the home. This does not cover left trash, excessive messes, cleaning dirty dishes, pet messes, excessive shedding. The home has deeper clean items that happen 2-3x a year.

Spa- Spa hours are set to 7a-10p No exceptions. This is a city rule and can result in fines. The spa is maintained after each and every guest. Spa covers are NOT airtight. This does mean there may be some debris that can get into the spa. Do not add anything into the spa. Urine, spilling drinks, excessive body oils or leaving cover off can result in a drain and fill fee. Please keep in mind we do use chemicals to maintain the spa. As it is used by many people the chemicals may seem slightly stronger than a normal spa. This is done to make sure the spa is sanitary.

Early check in- No guarantees will be made. Do not show up to the home until given the code. This rushes the cleaners and tends to assure something is missed.

Late check out- No guarantees. This is based entirely on the cleaning team’s route. It is only granted night before checking out.
