The space
This home has original 100 year old windows with the hand poured glass that reminds you of Grandmas house back in the day. They allow the light to flow thru and bring the sunshine in. It has a great feel with the 10' ceilings. This house has the old school charm with all updated features of today including split unit in the living room and window A/C units to keep you cool in the summer. The backyard is large and fenced in for dogs. There is a charcoal BBQ grill for use along with chairs to enjoy the yard. The front porch is very cozy with a comfy bench to put up your feet and enjoy the ocean breeze and watch the perfect sunsets. Best place in the morning to enjoy your first cup of coffee.

Parking passes are needed and 1 are provided that must be places in the car window. They are only valid 2 blocks within the property and are not valid on the Seawall or Strand. If more than 1 vehicle you can park behind the house through the alley on 22(kemper). We own the lot and no parking pass is needed. There is a 250 fee if the parking pass is not returned.
Other things to note
You will love this space, its a 5 minute walk to the Pleasure Pier along the sea wall. The pleasure pier has 2 restaurants, chick fil a and Wendy’s. Our favorite is the Spot just a ten minute walk and it has five venues including the best burgers and views on the island. Just next door is Brick House Tavern with a beach front bar and gas fire features. Float bar is just a short 7 minute walk with a beach front swimming pool at no charge and allows children until 2 p.m. Nicks has a beach front pool and spa open to the public free with a small charge for children with great happy hour specials including food and drink. Miller’s is a 2 minute walk just down P. 2 houses away is the famous Galvez hotel with an awesome Sunday brunch. Moody Gardens and Schlitterbaun is a short 3 mile drive or head over to downtown Galveston and Strand to do some shopping or catch a cruise ship. Catch a ride on the bus (trolly will be up soon) right in front of the house.
