Wonderful Vacation Home!

The description does not do this house justice. The log cabin part (kitchen) has an old-fashioned, homey feel, while the cottage part has a modern, airy feel. The kitchen, living room and two of the bedrooms have a great view of the lake. The whole property gives you a sense of seclusion and the private beach is clean and relaxing. We did wear water shoes because it is rocky stepping into the water. The host was extremely helpful and easy to deal with. Text messages were answered quickly. We had my elderly aunt and her companion with us, so we didn't take full advantage of all the house has to offer, but it would be a fantastic place for a family with children. The one bedroom has a large TV with lots of DVD's and games. It is a short drive to the bridge and downtown St. Ignace. I would definitely recommend this house for a great beach vacation.
