What a beautiful and well kept place. We felt like we were guests in someone’s cozy home. The balcony overlooking the river and bridge created a festive and romantic space in which to unwind after a wonderful say in Kenmare. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful comfortable cottage. It could not have been better located. We spent 8 lovely nights and based out of Kenmare. The small town is lovely...excellent quality shopping with very good restaurants....was amazed at the three large grocery stores, all located together in this small community - much to our delight and convenience they were all a quick 8-12 minute walk from the cottage. I would highly recommend this property when planning on staying in this part of Ireland. The host is just amazing with all the information he imparts on the area.

We loved our time in Kenmare and at Stoneybrough! My wife and I were a bit concerned traveling there with our nearly 3 year old and 5 year old because it looks so elegant but the space worked perfectly for us. The kitchen met all our needs and Joanne surpassed expectations as a house manger. We stayed for four nights and cherished all of it. The location can’t be better and the town is excellent. Given these features, we found the price to be a great bargain! We would book again if we pass through again.

A wonderful location. The property caretaker Joanne was so helpful and easy to reach. We stayed for 2 weeks, played golf all around the county and loved every course! The local Kenmare Golf Club is literally walking distance from the house. The house was very well equipped. Excellent showers, comfortable bed and the sound of the babbling brook out our bedroom window lulled us to sleep every night. We highly recommend staying here! Thank you to John for making sure we had all the information needed to plan our trip and again to Joanne for being there for us!!!

Great stay

Had a great stay here with our family. Home was close to everything in town, my kids enjoyed playing out on the patio and down by the river. Would recommend this place.

Ring of Beara weekend

Great place to stay in the middle of Kenmare private parking which is great, also house is spotlessly clean and tidy and has all you need. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic home

This home is extremely convenient and walkable to Kenmare. It is right on a lovely river. Owner was extremely helpful and easy to work with. This is a great place to stay.

Excellent location in the heart of Kenmare. Joanne met us and was only a telephone call away should we need anything during our stay. The townhouse was well equipped with everything one would need. Kenmare was an excellent location as we were able to see numerous sites along the Ring of Kerry in addition to several days just relaxing in Kenmare. We had a wonderful stay at Stoneybrough.

Loved everything about this place

We stayed here for 2 weeks and everything was perfect. This was the cleanest rental that we’ve ever stayed in. Well stocked kitchen, quality bed linens,and beautifully decorated. Best location in Kenmare. Great view of the creek from the balcony. I highly recommend this beautiful place!

Great home, location, and town. Everything near by: Restaurants, pubs, beautiful scenery. Great base of operations for day trips around Kerry and SW Cork. The house was comfortable, welcoming, and the perfect place for our family of 5 (all adult children)

Peaceful oasis in Kenmare

Easy checkin, offsite parking at a perfect location, very comfortable for our three seniors. Thoughtfully stocked and very clean. Beds were quite comfortable, and the deck was a huge plus. We were in Kenmare during an auto rally and it was still very quiet. One of our very best vrbo rentals.

Beautiful home in the heart of Kenmare

Great location in a beautiful setting by the river. The property manager did a warm welcome and explained operation of everything and was available for any questions. Far above any ordinary rental property and we would return anytime we are in the area.

This home and location exceeded our expectations. Kenmare is a charming and busy town so the parking space we had along with the close proximity to a variety of shopping was key for us. A superb green grocer and amazing butcher were right across the street, not to mention nearby shops, pubs and several excellent cafes. I was able to prepare many meals at home and appreciated the well equipped kitchen! Our house keeper and owner were extremely helpful and responded to any questions we had. We had a wonderful 3 week stay and give it a 5 star rating.

Pampered stay

This was our favorite stay during our trip to Ireland. The location was very nice, but it was the quality of the house that stood out. A lovely welcome with some food items, thick robes in the bedroom, the outdoor space overlooking the stream were among the things that added up to make this our favorite. We were a group of family -- three single retired women and a couple, and we appreciated the room to spread out.

Wonderful House in Great Location

This is a wonderful house that has a lot of character. It has everything you need. It is easy to stay at the house all day, either inside or on the patio overlooking the river. Very nice and peaceful. Short walk to town that is classic Ireland with two Michelin star restaurants, shopping, sightseeing and plenty of pubs. Good place to take tours from.
