What a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and close to everything. My wife hike, ride mountain bikes and the private yard kept everything safe. We had Internet issues and the family was right there to reset it, but I bet it will be fixed. Thank you for being a Beautiful host family. We will be back someday.
Nice home with private yard. Great location very clean and modern. I travel with my two active dogs and this was a great place to enjoy the amenities of Humboldt county. Met all my needs and the hosts communicated everything clearly.
Perfect in every way. I hate to give this review because I need the rental to be available next time we need it. After renting a variety of less than desirable places in the Humboldt area over the last decade this place was a gem. Well appointed, quiet, and well managed. Even the sofa bed was comfortable.
Everything about the stay was excellent-location only minutes from our daughter’s home. The large and very well equipped kitchen allowed for our holiday dinner. As birdwatchers we enjoyed the bird artwork and the many birds that visited the trees in the yard.
The house and property are beautiful. It was spotlessly cleaned, and thoughtfully stocked with anything you would need for your stay. The host was responsive to inquires and very kind. We would definitely stay here again.
This was a clean and comfortable place to stay while visiting Mckinleyville area. The rental is well equipped, and in like new condition. Very pleased with our stay here. And as a plus, we could take our dogs with us! 5 stars!
If you are looking for a quiet, modern, and spacious rental with all the amenities and nearby access to the Redwoods destinations, then you have found it!
Even though it is in a neighborhood, the rental itself feels like it is in a remote location. Very quiet at night and secure with the gated entrance. It includes all the modern amenities you need including reliable internet and all the kitchen accessories. Closeby to quality restaurants in McKinleyville and Arcata, a five minute drive to the beach, and under an hour to Redwoods parks north and south of the rental. The host was responsive and provided suggestions of local attractions as well. Great stay!
very pretty & modern cottage with special little touches and decor
great yard with privacy for our dog
the only thing that was a minor issue was intermittent, spotty internet, which affected our laptop and the tv
but still a lovely place
My husband and I and our small dog, Zip, thoroughly enjoyed staying at Casa Bella. Having stayed in numerous vacation rentals in the US and Europe this one was special. It was very clean and well-appointed. The kitchen had beautiful new cookware and dishes. I don't think I have ever stayed in a vacation rental that had such a complete set of accessories for cooking and dining. The bed was comfortable, the furniture was beautiful and clean and even the artwork adorning the walls was very lovely. The bathroom offered a shower with a dual hand-held nozzle and a rain shower head. Zip loved the large, fenced yard and visiting with the host’s cute dog, Blue, through the fence. The check-in was simple, and the hosts were available if we needed anything. But we did not need anything as the place had everything. It provided us with a great spot to enjoy beautiful Humboldt County and offered a cool respite from our home in the Southern California desert. If you are looking for a great spot in the Eureka/Arcata/McKinleyville area, look no further. Casa Bella is it.
