Welcome to our spacious 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house in the charming town of Riverside, Missouri! Beautiful kitchen and living areas with reading nook. The host was very communicative and friendly. The home itself had everything you could possibly need as a “home away from home” and the location was great for our personal itinerary that weekend. Our main reason for giving a low rating is the price. We found it to be too high for the actual quality of the home. It’s an older home. Drywall was cracked, carpets and tub stained. We enjoyed the hot tub, though that addition section of the house was so cold to walk by! Overall it was a pleasant stay, we just felt it to be way overpriced.

Every room in the house was very clean! We did not have time to use the hot tub. The set up is very nice and the bathrooms were plentiful. My husband left his slippers in the closet and I contacted the host and he took care of it immediately. The host is extremely responsive and very prompt. The backyard is beautiful with many trees. So if you want a quiet, nice place to be this is the place.

We had a group of 10 ladies for a little getaway. It was comfortable for us however we couldn't use the basement. It was freezing cold even with the space heater. There were some concerns with the amount of bugs in the traps as well. Just a group of 50 ladies scared of bugs in the dark! Location is great and easy to get anywhere around KC. House was cute and had most of what we needed. Plenty of parking (we had 5 cars).There is a noise level alarm and I will say it went off when we weren't being loud. We were playing board games and laughing and it sent multiple texts.

We had 8 people all 21 and over and the accommodations were great, we enjoyed the hot tub and the corn hole game in the basement. There is a grocery store and liquor store right down the street and we were 6 minutes from the Argosy casino. The house is well stocked and the host is very responsive.

It was a very fun trip and the house was perfect for a big group for a bachelorette party! The house itself had some major foundation problems and the front door would not lock without having to push the door down to line up the deadbolt. The fridge went out during our stay and the owner got us one delivered that same day. There were lots of mouse traps spread throughout the house and mouse poop behind the fridge.

Great Getaway

We came to Dan's property with 4 adults and 6 kids ages 3-10. It was the perfect amount of space for our families, everyone had a place to sleep ( 2 kids to a bed, and a pull out couch) every room has a TV which was PERFECT for everyone's gaming devices. And it was glorious that the kids didn't have to sleep in the same room as their oarents. Also, the hot tub out back was Great for after the kids went to bed and is parent adjust needed some down time. The location of the house was excellent. We got to Legoland and science City in about 15 minutes. There's a tasty coffee shop, Headrush, within a 5 minute drive. Close enough to lots of restaurants to get delivery. Minimal road traffic. Basically zero noise. Whenever I reached out to Dan with questions or concerns, he was quick to reply and very helpful. The house is well maintained, decorated beautifully. Lots of charm. The kitchen is stocked. The bedding is top tier -so soft and very clean. Even the mattresses and pillows were amazing. Would absolutely stay here again.
