This gorgeous home is just steps to the beach, with other beautiful homes nearby. This beautiful home is one of two, with zero lot line construction, so the adjoining house has just common wall in the garage, this home has its own separate backyard, heated pool 82 degrees & Jacuzzi(not a hot tub) and views from the balcony. This home is a two bedroom, so can sleep 4, but does have a sleeper sofa in the living room for 2 extra guest. The Living room is located upstairs and gives a great view of the beach and Gulf of Mexico. There is a deck off the Living room with great breeze coming off the gulf, and fantastic location to watch the sunsets. This home has a private pool, with a paver deck, surrounded by Palms, and all types of Florida Landscaping. The Living room and dining room and Kitchen are all located together, all with a view of the beach. Relax back, watch a movie on Flat screen TV, or get on your laptop and scroll the internet.
Private garage for parking out of the weather and secure when your gone. There is an elevator that will take you to all levels, or take the stairs your choice. Bedrooms are very spacious, with a large shower and walkin closets for the Master bedroom. Master bedroom has a King size bed, large flat screen TV, and a deck
with a partial view of the gulf. Second bedroom has a small deck over looking the pool area.
Anna Maria Island has miles of white sandy beaches, fishing piers, all types of rentals (boat, Seadoo's, Segway's, Para Sailing, bikes, list goes on...) Free Trolley rides all over the Island. There are fine Restaurants, shoppes, markets, and so much more!!! Beautiful clean house with a private pool and spa. A very short walk from the beach. Wasn’t more than 5 minute walk. No complaints once so ever. Will book this location in the future. 100%

Great Location

The location of the property was spectacular. The house itself was good and plenty of space for us. However the house could use a refresher and overhaul. Nothing terrible but just could use a pick me up and some TLC. Overall good stay at a good value with an amazing location.

Wonderful Stay!

We’ve stayed at numerous rentals over our years of vacationing on AMI. This house was by far our favorite!! Location is unbeatable. Beach is a one minute walk from the house. Shops & restaurants within walking distance. House was great with beautiful views from every window & deck. Clean when we arrived & well laid instructions for check in & check out. Lovely home, Perfect location! Just what we needed!

Loved this house! The location was perfect, close to everything and steps to the beach. It featured a gorgeous small pool with Jacuzzi that was so refreshing after a day at the beach. We were a group of childhood friends on a girl's trip. The house was well equipped with plenty of towels, some beach accessories, as well as a cart to tote items to the beach (1/2 block) Communication with the host was great. There is a garage. The washer and dryer was nice to have! The elevator was great for luggage and groceries. The house is 3 stories to afford a magnificent view from all floors!

Great location to the beach

This house is steps from the beach. The upper balcony off the living space is very nice, we watched the sunset every night. The house has plenty of extra amenities, blankets, towels, kitchen supplies, beach umbrella and chairs. The living space is more spacious then the pictures show. The owner was always very quick to respond to any questions before our arrival and while we were there. The house could use some fixing and a larger cleaning crew.

Property is in a very good location with a view of gulf from kitchen/living area and walking distance to shopping/dining. On the negative side the property was in need of a deep cleaning with dirty carpets, windows, etc and poor condition mattresses.

Property's location and deck's gulf views were excellent. Kitchen and beach equipment were excellent. Extra half bathroom and garage were nice features. Washer and dryer were conveniently located to bedrooms. Elevator was helpful for moving in and out. Time of year (February) meant that the pool was on chilly side. Pool was not cleaned regularly. Lack of landscape maintenance.

Beautiful view

Great week visiting AMI. For the most part, we enjoyed staying at the condo. The unit was pretty clean but could use some maintenance. Two of the bathrooms had issues with water leaking—one from the shower door not sealing properly and the other from the toilet. We followed instructions from the property manager, but the toilet still leaked. Also, several of the patio doors on the upper level would not open unto the balcony. We also attempted to contact the property manager several times during mid-week and never received a call back. The best thing about the condo was the view from the upper floor and the porch. Very relaxing. Also, the location to the gulf was very close.

Great view of ocean: pool definitely NOT heated

Just reread the description and must say I am disappointed that the pool’s heater was definitely not on during our stay (until sometime Saturday when it was cleaned and then the pump was on continually and the water was substantially warmer) we couldn’t even swim until Thursday and we had to purchase our own skimmer due to the one at the pool having more tears in it than anything. I did contact the manager about the skimmer and the winged bugs that we found out were termites. The view was gorgeous and the living room was quite comfortable but there wasn’t even a deck of cards. I just feel like there was not anyone there for sometime before us and no one walked through to make sure the house was clean and ready for us. This was our 25th wedding anniversary and we spent more than we usually do on a vacation rental, including renting through a management company instead of an individual; hoping the house would be extra nice.

Great Location Beautiful Views!

Loved our stay here at Holmes Beach, the property was spacious and provided everything we needed. A little more attention to "detail" would give this property an "excellent" rating. Although the property was clean there were several details that were shocking, such as layers of dust on the ceiling fans in the bedrooms and cobwebs in the ceiling corners, un-vacuumed areas along the base boards on the carpet in the bedrooms and behind doors. Dust and dirt around the washer & dryer. Closets not neatly organized like you would expect. If I was the property manager of this property I would not feel like my cleaning people are doing an excellent job for the cleaning fee you are charging. Also, outside by the pool area, there are dead branches that need to be removed and cleaned up, although we didn't use it the pool was not managed and taken care of. There was a debris pile of branches on the roadside in front of the property that needs to be removed and cleaned up. These details are crucial "first impressions" that makes your customers feel a little disappointed in the selection of this property. I hope this is helpfull, this could be an "excellent" stay if the property was just looked after a little better.

Great location but needs cleaning

Stayed here for two weeks. I’ll start with the positives: close to beach, shops and restaurants; great view of the ocean; pool was nice; and manager was responsive. Now for the negatives. First the place was filthy. Doesn’t appear to have had a deep clean in years (earlier reviews attest to this). There was built-up dust and dirt on the moldings and window frames. Plus it wasn’t cleaned properly. For example, master bathroom didn’t even appear to have been cleaned - mirror spots, faucet wasn’t wiped down, toothpaste in sink, drain catch had debris, shower glass was spotty, hairs in the shower, mold on shower head, counter dirty, hair on floor. Just gross. Floors all over house were dirty, appliances hadn’t been wiped down. You get the picture. We called the manager the day we arrived and he was apologetic and sent the cleaner the next day. However after hours of cleaning, it was apparent he didn’t know basic housecleaning. My spouse and I cleaned the place ourselves. The second negative is that the place was rundown and tired. Some examples: Couch was stained, chaise lounge by pool broken, bathroom floor tile and grout chipping/missing (and appears to have been this way for quite awhile - I see this in earlier reviews). This could be a great property just needs some upkeep and attention. We can’t wait to come back to Anna Maria Island, just not this place.

Location location location!

This was a great place to stay! With the varying temperatures during our trip, the multiple outdoor options were great! The elevator was a big plus to take our luggage and groceries up and down. We feel lucky we were still able to stay here after the hurricanes, that being said the house needs a little TLC and was not super clean. The hosts were prompt to respond and very courteous! One thing to note about the pool-it is mostly in the shade so it was quite chilly but it has a nice little pool!

AMI in July pretty hot

Lovely home property for couples or family, large enough for privacy and near restaurants and beach. Could walk to many places nearby and didn’t need to go anywhere else for much. Beach toys in garage were a nice surprise. The pool was pretty and it was private, but it was also so hot the water was warmer than you would normally enjoy.

Great place near the beach!

The property was awesome! Loved the different levels and having an ocean view! You can walk to restaurants and shopping. Easy drive to other favorite spots. The space was awesome. Our only complaint would be the bed in master bedroom... mattress is way too soft. My husband and I had daily back pain because of it. I'd recommend the owner get a more "middle of the road: mattress... not too soft, not too firm :) Other than that, we loved this property!!

Location. Location, Location

My family vacation was excellent, locationnof this property made it. Home needs alot of attention, A) Water stains on ceiling in both bedrooms, family room and the worst was in the 1/2 bath on 3rd floor. B) Crown molding peeling in family room as well as in master bedroom. C) Both bathrooms need to be regrouted and need industrial cleaning lots of mold. D) Exterior of house needs a good paint job.

Location location location

You will not be disappointed! The location of this property is perfect! Only steps to the beach and the view of the Gulf from the upstairs balcony is spectacular. The layout of the house works for all and the backyard pool is wonderful for cooling off in the afternoon. The only minimal issue is the cleanliness of the property. It could really use a thorough deep clean and some attention to detail. Overall - a wonderful vacation experience!

Needs a lot of care

We chose this property because of the excellent location and private pool. It did deliver on both those fronts. However, Upon our late night arrival we found the property to be incredibly dirty. So much so that I emailed the property manager right away. The bathroom floors and showers were full of hair. There was so much dust on the ceiling fans that we couldn’t turn them on in fear of it falling. The kitchen was a wreck with food particles everywhere. The floor through out the house looked as if no one had mopped in a month. Many items in the house were in disrepair including the elevator that broke the second day. The couch and beds were so broken down and need replaced. Flaking paint on the ceiling’s, unsafe deck looking over the pool, trash and debris littering the garage, pool deck is unsafe, mold around the air vents, bathroom toilet didn’t flush right, the grout is broken and missing in the master bath, and old well used linens, is just the beginning. The pool was dirty and needed swept and the outdoor grill still had a piece of old salmon in it. I read some reviews on here that were similar to mine and didn’t believe them. It was really unfortunate that we wasted our money on this property. The property manager was responsive and apologetic, but it is very obvious these reviews haven’t encouraged them to step up their game and take better care of the property. Richard did have a cleaner come out the next day to spot clean some areas. Don't Waste your money!

Everything as Promised. Would stay again.

Property was everything promised. Great quiet location, clean, well stocked and comfortable. Nice to not have to go out and buy cleaning supplies, soap, etc. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and free trolley. Just a short walk to beach with nice views of both sunrises and sunsets. Property manager was quickly responsive to questions/issues. Would definitely stay again.

Close to a beautiful beach

The property is so close to a beautiful beach that I didn’t even get winded walking there with all my stuff! Also, very close to some great restaurants and shopping areas.
