Each year a small group of buddies gather to float the Ocoee River. This year we stayed at the Murphy Mtn Cabin, and it did not disappoint. It was very clean and accommodating. Communication with the owner was easy and he was very responsive each time we had a question. The grounds are nice and the surrounding area very quiet. Would recommend to family or friends.Cheers
Absolutely amazing. The whole property is beautiful, it is very well cared for. The owners are amazing and very thoughtful and responsive. I tried to return but it was not available. I'll be back though
We had a great stay. It was very peaceful and quite and beautiful. Nick was great! He gave us lots of ideas for fun things to do in the area. The house was very clean and cozy. We will be back!
The home was exactly as described in the listing. Lots of creature comforts in a very well-equipped home. Large outdoor areas (Greenspace, Deck/s, Screen Porches, etc..) to take advantage of while staying there. Communication with Nick was excellent and would definitely consider returning there on a future trip if available.
The home and grounds were gorgeous! Loved all of the “extra” touches to make you feel at home, like big cozy blankets. And can we talk about the heated bathroom floor and the tub! Conveniently located to everything we wanted to do, but the house was very secluded and out of the way. Wish we had longer!
We stayed here for a week during thanksgiving and enjoyed the cabin so much. I liked the convenience of being able to drive around back to unload groceries and suitcases which was also a plus for my disabled brother who can’t do stairs. The walk-in showers were great too. It was peaceful and convenient to town. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The pictures don’t do it justice it’s beautiful. Nick was super too!
For the price, we got a good deal. There are some minor repairs that need to be made that were sent to the owner. The queen bed frame needs to be replaced as it is currently partially held up by a stack of books. One would not expect nature in their bedroom, but that is what it was like in the downstairs (twin) bedroom. All night I could hear a loud cricket sound and an animal that was moving around in the ceiling. The home is on a dead end street with a large yard. Having the stream was even better. If the repairs are made, I would stay here again.
This home was beautiful and cozy and we loved our stay! The property was lovely and all accommodations were top-notch. Management was quick to respond to our every need and we love the Murphy area for a fun, relaxing New Year’s family vacation. We had a deer visit right at our back window our first day. Thank you, Nick!!
