Enjoy watching wildlife next to the bonfire while overlooking beautiful Huellmantel Lake, or head to Traverse City a quick 10 minutes away for recreation, restaurants & entertainment. World- famous Moomer’s is just around the corner! We are centrally located to the Sleeping Bear sand dunes, Interlochen Arts Academy, local wineries, 5 star restaurants, and all Traverse City has to offer! My husband, Matt & I are both natives of Traverse City, and have been VRBO hosts since the spring of 2020. The best part of being hosts is being able to be part of bringing guests to a place we love, so they can also enjoy all that Traverse City and the surrounding areas have to offer.

This little hide-away, tucked next to Huellmantel Lake, has always been a favorite spot of ours...a little slice of heaven, secluded enough for a private getaway, but close enough for a quick trip to Traverse City, Glen Arbor, Interlochen, and countless other local hotspots - a true jumping off point for local recreation & entertainment!

A stay at Huellmantel Lake Cabin is a vacation in itself just enjoying the lake view from the porch or campfire, or venturing out for local hiking and recreation, sight-seeing, or wine tours.
